With all due respect to Jamie Lynn Lohan, it's nice to see some good role models on the covers of the supermarket rags (who aren't dying/dead/suffering from cancer). The Obamas are breaking new ground left and right.

8. Barack on that trike brings this to mind:

yesterday I was at the grocery store crying in my beer about the price of everything and a friend came by. We chatted and talked up Barack and then she told me she was his babysitter when he was seven. My friend has championed Barack from the beginning and is a fervent supporter. She was at college when Barack's mom was and was her babysitter for her son when he was seven. that sweet little boy on a trike was the boy my friend took care of when his mom worked or was in school. I didn't get a chance to talk long but will dig for more stuff when I see her to help with the dem float in the fourth of july parade.

:) very nice and lucky him he had such a wonderful babysitter. :)
