2. Drudge is on board with those lying cretins.
Like to see John Edwards put a big libel suit against those pricks.

3. I'd like to hear Kerry respond with, 'let's talk about jobs instead.."
Why let them frame the debate?

4. Kerry took so long to respond to the first - will he be quicker this time?
Edited on Thu Aug-19-04 05:22 PM by Democat
This has been said by several people on DU. The Swift Boat issue will be the biggest issue in the press for the entire rest of the campaign if Kerry doesn't do something to stop them.

According to reports, they have more money today than when they started.

This is not going away unless Kerry makes Bush make it go away.

5. Proven liars................
insist on spewing more lies. Let them go, they make Bush look worse and worse every minute. Assholes like this do more to elect Kerry than 1,000 political ads in swing states ever would.

Let 'em swing!

6. Is the new ad...
...going to "clarify" their story now that it has enough holes to grate cheese?

7. They announced a new ad just after Kerry did - watch the media
Edited on Thu Aug-19-04 05:30 PM by Democat
Kerry's ad will not get played as much as the Swift Boat Liars one will.

This is like when Bush follows Kerry around the day after he visits a city.

Swift Boat Liars are going to be stalking Kerry for the rest of the campaign unless he kicks their asses and ties them to Bush.

At least he has started fighting back.

10. You mean like the fall he took when he did the same to John McCain?
Or like the fall the Republicans took when they went after Max Cleland?

9. No, Kerry has to continue answering these bastards

as painful and stupid as this is.

This shit WORKS... it sticks with some people (enough),
especially if you leave it unanswered or try to change the subject.
This is unfortunate, but Kerry can't just take the high road
with this and ignore it. So I'm glad to see the campaign slapping
back, plus the FOIA on the service records of the not so swift vets.
