4. Yes, but it doesn't hurt them. Since their investments make more money than they would lose by
carrying the debt, it actually makes good financial sense for them to do that.

Especially for John McClean, someone associated with the Keating Five S&L scandal, not to mention his attacking Obama's VP vetters for having received "better than market" rates on loans.
