So I can criticize every VP Potential EXCEPT HRC?
Senator Obama must be the most believably gracious politician in history.

He's amazing and smart.

We've already spent the whole week pretty much, wondering what Clinton was up to... and today? She's receiving lavish praise.

Not so, the winner. Celebration was called "gloating." Praise was called "rubbing salt in the wounds." A great historical event was upstaged by petulance, derision and gamesmanship.

This has convinced me more than ever that racism is alive and well in America.

On my dead end, Ghetto Road.... there is a store that sells videos, sexual aids and crack pipes. On the reader board, in proud, bold letters it says "Congratulations, Barack Obama."

I'll get a photo I think, and learn how to post it in ALL my postings here, (if I don't get tombstoned for being a hardhead).

I'm not buying this HRC is the inevitable VP one iota.

I'm not submitting to demands that she not be criticized whatsoever.

I will never forget Tuesday, nor will I readily forgive her other improprieties during the campaign. I won't be posting about them... it IS WATER UNDER THE BRIDGE.

Nevertheless... her VP advocates had better expect criticism.

You promote it... live with the fact that not everybody does.

I was always physically awkward and never wanted to dance. I did a lot of sitting in the corner instead of making a fool of myself. Now I'm confined to a wheelchair and can't. If I had it to do again I'd be the fool, have my fun, and let the other's snicker if they must. -- an attitude I've adopted to life in general. :)

But it's hard. If you can't dance, you better sing! I'm a horrible singer, but when nobody's around, I'll belt it out. It feels good. My ex got me singing show tunes. My neighbors hear me singing songs from West Side Story and The Producers and they must think I'm nuts. But it's a happy kind of nuts. :)

I lived in Floribama and Georgida...

Historically Florida has had VERY "liberal" or illiberal if you prefer, gun control laws.

Didn't you all pass legislation a few years back authorizing lethal self defense and defense of property in public?

If I'm not mistaken, ya'all made it legal to shoot somebody for breaking into your car on the street. This was either by court decision or legislation.

Maybe you can tell me about that?

Northern Florida is the Deep South

I don't think Obama will have hilary on his ticket but, of course, there will be tons of threads on said subject AND the m$$$fm will insist it's the only way. NOT THIS TIME.

This is just the embryonic stage of the General and it's a little early for some to be donating $$ for paying down hilary's campaign debt.

Some people really need to put that into perspective. This is what happen with Bush and his cult following. Folks had the FBI called on them for making statements about Bush that were considered "unpatriotic" It's amazing to see some who call themselves democrats, liberals trying to push the "No bad words about Hillary" crap. People have a right to dissent because last time I checked these people are not fucking gods. I think those who cannot handle the criticism of their beloved candidates need to get with it. There is a difference between criticism and hate and even if someone does hate a politician who the hell cares; it's their right to hate whoever the hell they want.

47. You would think that if you have to be logged in
to the internet to get on DU that some folks would look up the word hate. I say that because it seems to be the new meme nowadays. If you criticize Hillary you hate her, really. Sounds a bit like if you don't support this war you don't support the troops. Some of you really need to think about that while you are throwing the word hate around because you don't like what someone says about Hillary. I think that if someone here truly said something hateful about her then there would be more than just a few post here and there calling someone hateful. So far I only see the few who tend to say that to most of us who do not sing her praises. Hate is a very powerful word and emotion and I don't see hate in this post. I do see someone who is frustrated and is venting. Really the hate meme is getting old much like that patriotic bull shit.

64. Senator Clinton should be treated no better nor worse than any other Democratic Senator.
Just as DUers critique Senator (Ben) Nelson, Senator Landrieu, Senator Feinstein, Senator Stabenow, Senator Schumer, or any other Democratic Senator or congressman, so should we critique Senator Clinton.

Senator Obama is now the "presumptive nominee" and there should be zero tolerance for any advocacy of non-support or (worse) support for opposing candidates.

between critique and bashing. When a poster has bashed from day one, damn right that poster should be called on it. There is also a BIG difference between advocating for another candidate and admiration for that person.

I also will assume you do not mean there is no room at all for constructive criticism of Senator Obama.

I will trust the mods, and especially to admins to know the differences when brought to their attention.

60. Your observations are right on
and your conclusions are the same as mine...

All this love and unity has no foundation .... oh, yeah, try hard to remember not to say anything nice about Obama. That wouldn't be fair.

The media is concerned with angry Clinton supporters. Many democrats who were for Obama are just as angry. Well, maybe not angry, perhaps we're just over-protective of him (just because we're paranoid doesn't mean there isn't some scheming going on).

I am upset because she blames male chauvinism for her loss - not her own mishandling of the campaign and things that came up during the campaign like Nafta, Kosovo, mishandling of the health care plan when Bill was president, her contributions and friendships with questionable corporate sources, etc., and the main liability - her vote on the war. Too much twisting and distorting of information.

Obama people need to vent, maybe peace will come after. I think we need reassurance that all is well, not flaming.

It's a matter of opinion after all. We are here at DU, free to express our opinions.
I think Hillary would be a bad chose. Other's can thing she's the bestest choice ever.
I don't think Barack Obama is going to consult us here at DU before he makes his pick.
