CRAZY Obama Photo...
I can't even imagine what this is like, so many people wanting to shake you hand, hug you, kiss you, touch you....
I don't like crowds, so I don't think I could handle it (not that I ever have to worry about it?!)

this was taken yesterday, but I'm not sure where he was.

4. that's the way it makes me feel too!
I'd be yelling for the secret service! get me outta here.

I went to see the lighting of the Christmas tree in rockefeller center in NYC a few years back, I couldn't stay for more than 5 minutes. shoulder to shoulder people and I almost hyperventilated!

6. Thank you RazberryBeret - I printed this one out - I paint as a hobby
and I've been studying skin tones and hands and I voila! The perfect picture. Also, since I'm an Obama supporter - even better. I'm going to try paint the image on it - or something similar. Do you have a link where you got the picture- then it will be easier for me to enlarge it. Also, I need to get the photographer's permission. And the link might help me get that. Thank you again for the beautiful picture. It really does express what America should be.

then switched to graphic design in college--I love painting and hands were always a problem!!
here's the link:

I saw a wider version of this shot today, (they changed it this afternoon) I saved it on my computer at work, i will send it to you tomorrow.

it's from the London Sun
it would make an awesome painting!!!

26. Thank you thank you!!!
I can't wait to get your email! I wish I studied art in college. I have been taking classes and painting with painting clubs for about 3 years now. I've gotten a lot of inspiration from the Obama campaign for subjects to paint. Before the campaign, I painted still lives and flowers. Now I'm into people - not super models - but people in this country who get out of bed, stand up, and say out loud they want something different.

I like the graphic design of the Obama logo, etc. But I can't get over the sea of faces and hands that reach out for this man. The dots of 70,000 faces in Portland that looked like a field of flowers. It is an amazing and heart felt feeling for me. As an artist, you know, that art goes from your eyes to your soul.

24. I get nervous when I see a lot of people that close to Obama...
It makes me think of you-know-what of you-know-who. But last night on MSNBC, a pundit explained that the Secret Service in front of Obama tell everyone "hands up over your head where we can see them" and if someone drops a hand even to wipe their nose they are quardoned off and separated from Obama and the crowd.

It still makes me nervous, but I guess it's part of the gig for a politician.

32. It reminds me of Bill Clinton's campaigns
I know some Obama supporters get offended when I say that Obama reminds me of B Clinton in many ways, but I actually don't mean it as an insult. I didn't agree with Clinton on every issue either, but he was a decent, effective leader, and I'm sure Obama will be as well.

But the 2 especially remind me of each other because of the way they both connect to people and the Beatles like response each gets from their crowds.
