Ready on day one...
Edited on Wed Jun-04-08 01:44 PM by DearAbby
Yet Hillary Clinton had asked her supporters to go to her website to give her ideas what she should do in the near future...This is a person who claimed to be ready to lead on day one? This does not sound at all like a true leader. My Opinion

19. for one thing........
...he has an extensive background in constitutional law. He has already said that as soon as he gets into office he will look at all of Bush's decisions and overturn any that are contrary to the constitution.

Any democrat who hates Bush as much as I do should be glad to hear that.....

21. Congrats for completely changing my thread...
this isnt about Obama, it is about a candidate, who can't get it into her head that the race is over. She couldn't concede the race, be graceous in her defeat, be a leader to her supporters.

Yet you were successful in turning this thread completely into "Why should I vote for Obama?" thread.

Answer, BECAUSE HE IS THE PRESUMPTIVE DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE.

That isnt good enough for you...then the hell with it.

10. What is the problem?
I stated an opinion. Asking your supporters on what you should do, sounds fairly weak to me. She as a LEADER should KNOW what she should do. Yet she is begging for her supporters to go to her website and offer ideas.

She will not concede the race is over, she lost. She could have shown true LEADERSHIP last night...she allowed that moment to pass. Instead claiming her "18 million" voters were somehow disenfrancized, and invisible. What nonsense. Her actions do not show one ounce of leadership. It shows desparation.

15. After seeing McSame speaking before him - then Obama following. It only proved further
That McSame doesn't have a chance. Obama sounded truly presidential - ready to inspire and lead. McSame sounded like he was talking to a bunch of kids. I was waiting for him to reach out and pat someone on the head. And I really hope he does that smarmy smile and laugh during a debate - it will be met with a quick tongue lashing and rebuke from Obama.

not exactly a slam on Obama, but she was flirting with it.

9. She's campaigned according to the polls.
She would govern by the polls as well. Now she wants some polling input onto her website.

16. She had the opportunity to lead her supporters
to support the party..

IS THIS ABOUT OUR COUNTRY AND OUR PARTY or about HILLARY CLINTON?

The voters had voted, and one person finished first in the race, a true leader within the party would have taken this opportunity to LEAD her supporters to fall in line behind the presumptive nominee...this isn't about CLINTON, it is about the future of our country.

18. At this point...
I am pretty worried about what she thinks...she sounds weak and deranged. The voters have made their choice. Last night was a perfect opportunity to show the country the leadership of Hillary Clinton...instead it sounded like a plea for comments on her facebook site.
