Letting go of Hillary
Edited on Wed Jun-04-08 12:23 AM by Teaser
This isn't aimed at the Hillary supporters, they can do what they feel is right. But for those of us who've supported Obama there has been a (somewhat

justifiable) horror at the tactics and tools of the Clinton campaign. We've gotten mad, we've gotten even. We've mocked people back into the stone age.

But, whatever else happen, Hillary only matters at this point if we let her matter. And hating on her, getting outraged, etc, is *letting her matter*.

Big things happened tonight. Obama has made history. Lee Mercer has conceded defeat and agreed to work for the Democratic candidate. And I got a whole

case of beer right here for free. All three.

We don't need to worry about HRC anymore. So whatever she has or hasn't done tonight, don't let it get you down, or mad, or whatever.

Just come on over to my place, you, me and Lee Mercer, we'll crack some beers, have some laughs, and think about the future.

1. Obama is now able to really go after his opponent
in a way he couldn't go after Clinton.

It's going to be a thing of beauty. :)

2. The bottom line is we have a job to do now
Our job will either be easier or harder depending on what HRC does but either way we must push on and continue to pitch our ideas to anyone who will listen. we need to treat her supporters just as obama treated the democrtic electorate at the beginning of this campaign, we need to reintroduce ourselves in comparison to a NEW opponent, and they have the free will to choose as they like, out of revenge, or out of hope.
