He has basically been pushing his manufactured talking point all night that Hillary has control over her army, and will hold it out from Obama, an army bigger than Obama's.

It is not bigger than Obama's pool of supporters. All the people that voted her do not still support her, and even more are not voters that will not vote for Obama. She has NOWHERE near an army of 17-18 million.

What a fucking blowhard. Just stirring up controversy. And pushing segmented and racialized politics.

3. Why does everyone assume that her supporters will ONLY vote for her?!
I don't ever recall that claim being made during any other primary. Come on ... it's a freakin' primary! Just because you didn't vote for the Democrat who got the nomination, that doesn't mean you won't vote for the Democrat in November!

I'm sure there are some Clinton supporters who will never vote for Obama - just as there are some Obama supporters who will never vote for Clinton. BUT ... I don't believe for one second that those people are the vast majority of voters. If people were so completely "attached" to their primary candidate, no politician could ever win a GE after competing in a primary.

5. Obama had to build his army from scratch

There's a different opponent now, and a different game, we'll compete with McCain for ALL votes, and take NONE for granted, whether they be Independents, disaffected republicans, Hillary supporters or hell even keeping Obama supporters in the fold. Each one of those voters will have a choice to make. Not for what Hillary wants but for what THEY want. It's about THEIR values. All we can do is pitch what we believe in as best as we can. We can't control their sensibilities, their reactions, even hillary can't CONTROL that necessarily even if they SUPPORTED her at any point of time. They all have free will, we'll do our best to win them over with ideas, to help them in their lives and they can either accept it or not.

If complaining about popular vote is the primary value in their political decision making as it effects their very lives and goals then they can hold on to that even if I can't understand it. Heck I can't understand why people self-mutilate themselves. I don't know of any quantifiable metrics to measure any of those things. All I, and other obama supporters can do is pitch what we believe can help them in the best way we can.
