Hagel yes, but Clinton no

I am not a supporter of Obama or Clinton, but I've made the decision to vote for either or both in November, and will do so fairly happily.

But I can not believe the posts I am seeing from some people on this site. Apparently some people will trust Obama's judgment if he chooses an anti-choice, fairly racist, misogyinist, pro-military industrial complex, pro-school prayer, hard core republican for VP like Hagel. But many of those same people will not trust his judgment if he chooses Clinton for VP even though she has a fairly moderate/centrist voting record much like his own.

LOL. I'd like to thank some of the more vocal posters from both sides for reminding me why I need to stay away from this place. :)

I think he's a good candidate and has run a terrific campaign. I think I trust in him more than some of his supporters, since I think he will pick a *Dem* who he thinks will help us win in Nov.


My post was directed at those here (and there are more than many realize) who have point blank posted that they would support Hagel as VP but not Clinton. It's truly been bizarre lately.

5. the real problem with choosing Hillary as a running mate

is can she and HER husband be trusted.
I don't think they can. They don't like to lose
Also, the free trade agreements that sent a lot of american jobs to foreign countries, and Bill is for them, and has made a lot of money for foreign countries since he left the White House.

Now I know he is the spouse but he still carries a lot of power and influence since he is a former president. And I don't think the Clinton's interest would be in working with Obama.

Also she represents the old way of doing things. ANd we can fault Bush for the Oil crisises all day long
but electric cars came out in 1996, If Bill Clinton wanted to wene us off of Oil wht didn't he push for more electric car production?

Picking Clinton would be "politcally smart" but not smart for his adminstration.
Also Hillary and Bill have not been Properly vetted,
Exactly where did the 109 million come from?
Why was he "paid so much" for speaking
who was paying him, what did he promise in return for all that money?
Who are the donors to his Library?
Would this put The Monica scandal back in play?

Although I am not opposed to her being the VP, I really don't and haven't cared about the primary for some time. I'll vote for the D regardless this year.


My post was only about certain posters here who *would* support Hagel on the ticket but are adamantly opposed to Clinton. Seriously, wtf is up with that? Even after his voting record has been posted, some people here would be ok with him, but not with her. :crazy:

I'll be glad when the primary blinders are taken off, and hopefully some semblance of sanity returns to this site. :shrug:

but I think there are plenty of qualified Democrats for the position.

I was listening to can't think of his name the former Wrestler who became a GOV
anyway, he was spouting about how Obama should pick an Independant to prove he is bipartsian.

I completely disagree. Obama should chose who he fills will be the best for his administration,
I mean it's nice to make a "politcal decision" it can Look pretty, but really he needs to pick someone he can be "married to" for hopefully 8 years.

For sanity to return, we need to go find new sane people.

11. A lot of uninformed people, who think that, because Hagel has come to a reasonnable

view on Iraq, he is fine. They have no clue of what he stands for.

It always amazes me how people here are ready to bash good Democrats (which whom they may have legitimate issues) but rally around Republicans if they are somehow critical of the Bush administration.
