Rise above and elevate-a DU and Democratic Party Plea
Edited on Mon Jun-02-08 12:08 AM by wanpete
Soon, Barack Obama will have the number of delegates needed to be the Democratic presidential nominee. It has been a long and contentious race. Barack Obama has risen above the vicious and withering attacks leveled against him and has been gracious and honorable, even when he was not treated with the same respect he has given. He asked his supporters not to show up and show out like his opponent's supporters did at the RBC meeting on Saturday, which only proved to be a contrived spectacle to fuel this inflated issue of Democratic party disunity. It is now time to unite and move forward to win in November.

Let's all support our Democratic nominee. Let the threads DIE that seek to sow division and hatred within our own party. We will all be amazed at how quickly this board returns to those who truly want a Democrat to win when we do not fall prey to the bait of hateful posters who seek to divide and destroy us. This election is ours to lose, or with focus and unity, ours to win.

Democrats in '08...Yes We Can!
