2. Baby boomers disillusioned Generation X, why not the next generation as well?

12. Aw, is your world messed up because of those bad boomers?!
Edited on Sun Jun-01-08 05:12 PM by TexasObserver
Grow up. Do you realize how silly you look when you wail about boomers, as if any generation is responsible for what you find in your world?

Guess what? The generation behind you will whine about you exactly the same way you whine about boomers. And they'll be just as big a baby about it as you are.

Focus on the policies and actions you like or don't like. Stop trying to assess generational blame. You need to grow up and stop blaming your life on others who have come before you. No generation does anything to the next generation. Life goes on, and each person becomes all the generations, just as surely as you will become the generation despised by the one that follows you.

16. Not all Baby Boomers are like that. Not all X'ers are like their stereotypes either.
Yes, it can be fun to generalize. The truth is, not all conform to the traits accorded their stereotypes.

Even many in gen-Y aren't overly-pierced, uncouth, anti-social rejects.

Let her go on. It will be over soon. Obama will be the nominee, and we will win.

7. Why does anyone act surprised
Its like when your dating a bad person and you keep hoping for them to do the right thing and everytime they get drunk or do something stupid you act surprised and wonder why?

18. Yep. I'm convinced she'll wait for the votes to be counted in Denver, and
to hell with "unity".

She'll hold the party hostage, because her subset of near-fanatical supporters won't believe she's out until she says she's out, and even then they may not choose to believe her or will blame it on Obama.

Or, she'll just cry "They pushed me out!" when the SD endorsements put Obama over the top, and get her fanatics foaming at the mouth over her martyrdom.

As I've said...any actions to the contrary this week from either her or her campaign despite a flood of supers for Obama will surprise me.

seeds, so her "people" will be too angry to vote for anyone else..

shame on her..

and even when a majority of SDs flocvk to Obama and put him over the number, she will continue to "run", since technically they "could" change their minds:puke:
