I'm LOL'ing at Hillary fans who are going apeshit over the ruling today
it is starting to dawn on them after today didn't rescue Hillary's nomination efforts that she's done....so they go into full overdrive trying to start anti-Obama threads while they still can.

We need to clear out some trees over there behind the saloon because I see a whole bunch of tombstones going up soon.

1. They're going apeshit at fellow Hillary supporters then.
13/13 for halving Florida vote.

5/13 for halving Michigan vote.

Sorry, but them's the numbers.

6. Most of the Hillary Supporters throwing a hissy fit right now
are Republicans acting like they're Democrats.

It'll be good riddance to bad rubbish when they gat served their pizza.

11. I have to respectfully disagree. Most of the Republicans I know are laughing their asses off
at all this. They were never in favor of Mrs. Clinton, even the ones who voted for her. They hate her. The Repubs who switched parties to vote for her in primaries were just trying to stir up trouble for the Dems. Unfortunately, it seems to have worked.

16. lol. I still don't think it's worked. It's been great for our party to have
such a spirited competition and have so many states feel their vote counts. Now they've swelled the voter rolls, the email lists, the donor lists...Obama has gotten his name and face out there....it is going to be a fun general election with all the momentum on Obama's side.

20. You could be right. But we should not get overconfident.
It will be a hard fight. I do think that the Republicans will be less inclined to unite behind McCain
with Obama as his opponent instead of Clinton. Many Republicans are dissapointed that McCain finagled their nomination and will support him only reluctantly. They absolutely DESPISE Hillary Clinton, though, and would come out in droves to vote against her. Their feeling seem to be much less intense toward Obama.

23. exactly. I don't feel confident.
I just feel happy that there has been some order in this. Obama NEEDED to be punched around a bit prior to the general election. I view Hillary as one of those in gray trunks in the gym wearing the sparring helmet. She's not quite ready for MGM glare of klieg lights doing battle in a heavy weight fight. That will be Obama vs. McCain with Obama winning by TKO.

21. That is possible. I thought you meant that they were actually upset that she has lost.
Getting her to actually win was never their intention. They could still be simply stirring up trouble.

All but the most virulent dead-enders supported this decision.

And did you care about "unity" when you thought hillary was going to win? NO.

Go vote for McCain if it makes you feel better. While you're at it, thrash about on the ground and hold your breath until you turn blue. Same difference.

3. Sometimes it's best to let an incorrigible child have his/her temper tantrum
That's what they did when I was in day care in the early/mid 1980's.

If a kid was having a temper tantrum, the staff would just let the child vent as long as he or she was not hurting anyone else. Soon the children saw that temper tantrum would only be ignored and would not accomplish anything.

That's kind of my attitude here.

28. exactly. they were expecting a hail mary at the end to win it
and what they got was an inconsequential field goal that still leaves their team down by a touchdown with time expiring.

it's time to seriously get tough on the anti Obmama comments on this board. it's not as though she's going to win. any further whining she does after all the votes are in this upcoming week would be ridiculous and counterproductive.

however, I plan a wonderful post on Wednesday to honor Hillary Clinton and her husband. I think they deserve some positive credit, and I'll provide that AFTER all the votes are in and counted.

Check out the top stories on GD-P. Plenty of twisted knickers among the Obama folk outraged at this and venting at that. And feeling justified in engaging in all many of foot stamping, clothe rending, teeth gnashing and foul mouthed name calling.
I realize it is only an intemperate minority but it does seem to be the majority on GD-P.
