2. I am nervous
but not really because of Kerry/Edwards but because of Bush* and the unscrupulous nature of the GOP. The size and enthusiasm of the crowds Kerry has been getting is very encouraging. Edwards was a HUGE hit in Lawrence last weekend. All of that looks good. Just a nervous Nelly I guess.

4. I got all the emotions there are
I have faith in Kerry. The audacity of hope. I have no doubt in that man.

I do have fear of a terrorist attack/manipulation by the evildoers that are running this country. And then there are the other terrorists...but God Bless America and let us have a free and honest election.

Thanks for all your hard work. You are doing a great job. It's hard when your opponents use school yard tactics.

12. Dems MUST VOTE!
JK needs to start reminding people that Dems are lazy voters. Make it a joke somehow. I'm really feeling the only way we can lose is to get over-confident and lazy and not vote. Seen that somewhere recently didn't we Pete? Can't let it happen in November. We can't get the attitude that we don't need to worry because there's so many others who will vote. Dems vote, Dems win.

13. Mostly cautiously optimistic.
I am occasionally supremely optimistic, but then I read about how completely and utterly f**ked up our voting systems are or start thinking about how totally unethical the repukes are and go back to a state of cautiously optimistic. But that is ok, 'cause it makes me work harder toward winning. If I thought it was a slam dunk, I wouldn't be doing much at all.

14. Don't underestimate the GOP. PLEASE
Their machine is well oiled; they have had the vans rented for GOTV since last Feb.

It's VITAL that we concentrate on real time real world, GOTV efforts. Go volunteer at a phone bank near you.

15. Poll needs another level
I'm between the top two levels. I suggest adding "Comfortably Confident" as the second level from the top.

16. Nervous - for example, local talk radio in a swing state
All swiftboat, all the time. One moderate/right host seems persuadable, I exchanged e-mails, but he had a swiftboat vet on yesterday.

The swiftboat vets might not be having an effect in NYC, but they are killing us here in MO.

We can only hope he won't get an infusion of cash from Richard Egan again.

19. those people play dirty. therefore I am cautiously optimistic
otherwise I wouldn't worry. I believe they will stop at NOTHING to try to win this election , even calling it off...if they think they will lose. look what happened last time.

22. How about cautiously nervous?
If we were dealing with law abiding Republican opponents instead of fascist mass murderers, I could be more optimistic.

Even if polls ever meant anything, they mean even less against those who have proven they will lie, cheat, steal, and even kill (see Spain) in order to alter an election.

23. Cautiously optimistic
I feel us DEMS have a strong team with Kerry-Edwards. I stand by all the issues and positions they're running on and I think they will make a very strong duo when in the White House.

I am cautious to say that Kerry has it locked up mainly b/c I know Team Shrub will do all they can, even cheat again, to get "selected" for another 4 more years.

I think the election will continue to get more and more ugly and with most of the media on the side of Shrub, I think this works against Kerry.

But I have my faith in the American people, who I feel will smarten up and vote for Kerry and thus give him the WHite House.

24. Outright optimistic.
I'm not at 'supremely confident' yet, but I grow less cautious in my optimism daily, and with good reason, I think.
