3. I am united- I am a Democrat
I will continue to defend all good and liberal Dems.

I will continue to fight the RW machine.

I will also continue to support my choice for the Dem nominee until such time as she concedes, wins or it is decided at the convention.

10. As long as
it doesn't entail beating me over the head with a wiffle bat until I pledge allegiance to Obama I am okay with that :)

Rest assured if he is the Nominee he will have my vote.

18. The Clintons need to accept her defeat so the party can move on.
Her scorched earth bargaining is for naught. She will not be the nominee. She will not be VP. She has nixed that for herself and has nobody to blame but herself.

The Clintons need to pull up their socks and let the party move on. We will anyway with or without them, but it is up to them to decide how they wish to be regarded within the party.

23. yes, let's pretend she has the best interests of the party in mind and not her own blind ambition
When she concedes, the party will unite. It's up to you and the rest of the HRC-phytes to get with the program because herding cats is not anybody's responsibility. Hate on that factoid.

26. Don't need to be herded.
Just wait one week. It will be over, and I expect people will begin to unite.

But the nastiness in the meantime is NOT helpful.

27. I agree HRC's invoking racism and assassination is not helpful but she did it anyway.
Edited on Tue May-27-08 02:40 PM by AtomicKitten
Her best hope to salvage her reputation and career is that Democrats will set aside her behavior during this campaign as the party moves forward, but I assure you her nasty campaining will not be forgotten and is THE reason she will not be VP.

You don't like Clinton and you don't like her campaign.

But why so mean to her supporters here?

31. The truth hurts sometimes.
Unfortunately the truth is something many HRC supporters refuse to acknowledge and instead spend 24/7 attacking and trying to damage Obama who is a whisper away from being the Democratic presumptive nominee, and that is precisely why Democrats are closing ranks and defending the nominee from (allegedly) our own.

When she finally pulls up her socks and concedes (and stops trying to hamstring Obama), I suspect all will be well in the universe. The truth here is simple cause and effect.

The party will be united by the convention. There are very, very few democrats who will not support our ticket. We will have significant numbers of democratic victories across the country.
