  If she doesn't win or place, that machine- well maybe it doesn't die- but it loses something important, some power source which they and it fear it may never reclaim. Which is why Carville, et al., who are other parts of that machine, are fighting so hard for it.

I'm sick of it. The Clintons have erased much of the good will they enjoyed. They are wallowing in the mud now and its tedious to watch.

There is "staying in the campaign until all the votes are counted" and there is the "We're going to stomp our feet and holler and cry and hold our breaths until you give us what we want" behavior. The Clintons are taking the low road. As a U.S. citizen, a registered and consistent voter, a Democrat who voted for Bill Clinton both times and defended him constantly, I'm reporting that I am sick and tired of the Clintons.
