A possible Obama olive branch to the Clinton's: Chelsea speaks in prime time at Denver?
As this is only an idea from my head, this "IS" the link to this story.

My decision to back Obama was an act of pragmatism on my part. I used what info I had available, and tried to keep emotion out of the equation. I always keep history in the back of my head when I decide, because history is what such choices should be judged against, not just their potential to make history. Ain't that how we got into Iraq?

I just had to lay that out first before you consider such an offer.

It is clear (at least to me) that the Clinton's are now conducting an offensive damage control campaign for their political futures by trying to muscle Hillary on to the ticket. This would be too problematic for an Obama campaign and administration.

In the campaign, Obama will be branded as submissive and weakened in the GE. Then, if they make it to the White House, Bill Clinton will be a shadowy Cheney figure in the eyes of the opposition and become an albatross to the administration, be it justified or not.

Chelsea is a highly educated, and respected youth leader, aside from her family. She does not have the baggage of a long political past, and as the old sayin' goes, you don't choose your folks.

She has a unique perspective and experience of national politics in America. A perspective that I believe, no other person her age has today. And I believe that the message sent to the youth vote within the Democratic party could sustain a Democratic majority for the next generation and beyond.

If Hillary and Bill Clinton are worried about their futures in Washington, such an offer should allay any fears of an end to the Clinton legacy in American politics.

Let Chelsea speak at the convention in prime time.

Any other ideas?

The hate is making you wall-biting, cat-kicking crazy. Seriously, take a break if you need to. This kind of irrational anger can't be good for you.

7. Yeah, Obama should promise to issue a pardon for Bill Clinton
like the one Ford did for Nixon and the ones daddy boosh issued for a whole bunch of people who could have put his pathetic wrinkled ol ass in jail.

And yes I know clinton has not been convicted of anything. Yet. Neither was Nixon, weinberger or all the other Iran contra conspirators pardoned by old man bush.

Thats what I would do.
