"Every vote counts!" Except for those Caucus states. They deserve to be punished!!!
Michigan and Florida had REAL primaries. They were good states who held entirely democratic primaries, so their popular vote totals count. So what if the DNC told the candidates to withdraw - its Obama's fault for listening to them and not participating in a valid primary like Michigan. Meanwhile, evil states like Iowa, Nevada, Minnesota and all the rest need to be punished for propogating a faulty voting method. Hillary of course said this, or at least thought this, long before any votes were cast. She has been ENTIRELY consistent in her belief that caucus states are evil, and therefore shouldn't count in the all-important popular vote total.

And even if some caucus states do get counted in the vote totals, because only the truly motivated democratic party goers participate, they still get punished for not having as many people participating. Their overall impact is lessened in comparison to good primary states. This is at it should be, because they deserve the punishment.

And of course, the winner of the popular vote IS the real winner, regardless of what those sexists in charge of the DNC say. Pledged delegate totals that include nefarious caucus states, or meaningless red state totals are just one more method of ensuring a male dominated system in the face of a real candidate. We won't go to the back of the bus, dammit!!! Fight the power!!!

1. Obviously the flawed election where Hillary won 100% of the delegates in MI is more valid than those
caucuses!

10. Around here? These days?
I wouldn't claim water is wet (and I'm certainly not doing so now) without posting at least three links confirming it and I wouldn't make a post stating that I wouldn't claim water is wet without adding:

5. I'm all for getting rid of caucuses
But we can't do it in the middle of the primary season.

9. This is a fine thing for Hillary to leverage her power for...incidentally...
I still fully support the idea of caucuses. I like the idea that the truly committed party goers select the nominee, but that's just me. If the party luminaries change the nomination process, which I think we ALL think needs some tweaking, I'm totally OK with that.

If the caucuses are gone next time around, along with the Supes (ESPECIALLY the Supes), and a modification to the proportional delegate system, that's all good.

But the rules this time around are both clear and valid. Caucuses elect delegates, not popular votes.

11. I want the votes of the people who stayed at home and didn't vote to count as votes
I'm talking about those people who would have voted, had they thought their votes would count but instead stayed at home when they were told they wouldn't count. Since everyone is being creative and making up whatever scenario suits their purposes, I think anything goes.

12. Abolutely!!! Even the votes that weren't cast count...assuming they weren't cast...
in a primary state, that is. Vote that weren't cast in caucus states shouldn't count.

13. I demand that we count votes not cast in primary states, and not votes not cast in Guam. Also:
We should count cast votes not counted in primaries held in caucus states, and not votes not cast in caucus states that did not hold primaries.

18. Right on! Who needs us, anyway?
Who needs Dems who will turn out in record numbers, four times the previous record, and overwhelm every caucus site in the state, causing a shortage of ballots?

Who needs the 10 or 20,000 new Dems we registered that night? Huh?
