The most -ist/-ism campaign I've ever seen.
And we're not even out of the gate yet.

I'm only 37, so I defer to the elder political junkies here. Does anyone remember a more ist/ism race than this one? It's as if we're trying to out-victim each other...

(Disclaimer: I believe the Clinton camp is much more victim-messaged than the Obama one. Deal.)

1. Well it's the first time we've had a
woman and a black guy as the two leading contenders.

2. That is exactly right.
In the end, I think it will move us in a very positive direction. These are conversations worth having.

3. I agree with your basic premise
but the signal-to-noise ratio from a content standpoint is pretty low. But yeah, it's probably still helpful. If nothing else it is cathartic.

4. I think as we begin to step away from the fire
and reflect on all of this, we will have a better recognition of what these two had to overcome to get where they are.

You are right about the signal to noise ratio. Too much noise to analyze it right now.
