I would like to propose a gift to Sen Kennedy.

I am not sure how to go about this and am asking for help from those of you who have done this for EE and Helen, Etc. Maybe someone could PM me?

I am proposing that we send a Tree or Shrub ( no not "that" Shrub)to Sen Kennedy. I was checking through that Arborday Foundation site and came across the American Elder (also known as elderberry). It looks like it might be a good choice for Cape Cod and for our own "American Elder".

If there is enough interest I'll do some more digging and see if arrangements can be made.

7. If you're spearheading the movement, check with the Senate Ethics Office.

I'd hate to see a lot of effort taken only to see the gift turned away because of technicalities. I also would hate to see him get in any kind of turmoil at this point.
