noticed?
How can he say that Bush helped New York during 9/11? Didn't he renegue on the money the Federal Government promised New York? Hasn't he cut the help for the "first responders?" I am confused!

This is his talk during Blitzer's show.

13. Giulliani is a BASTARD!!!! I have seen his "work" in NY....
and his assault on minorities (ala Armadu Diallo).

A special place is reserved in Hell for this SOB!

2. He may be a gasbag, but
he is also a pig. New Yorkers like myself are glad to be rid of him and his polarizing politics.

11. Polling showed that he is the
most disliked mayor, over 50% unfavorable. Lately though, he's been going to many minority events, plus the recent face time on tee-vee warning of terror alerts, and his favorability seems to be creeping up. The dems in NY have been know to form circular firing squads, but if the dems decide against shooting themselves in the next mayoral election, I don't think Bloomberg with all his billions can win. I have a strong visceral reaction against the man.

4. I like him.
I don't like that he's supporting Bush, but I was very impressed with him during 9/11. My respect for him as someone who did the right thing during a difficult time will not go away just because he is trying to keep his political party in charge. He is a Republican of national prominence, so he can't come out and say "can't stand the lying jerk, so please get rid of him" even if he privately wants that. McCain is in the same position. They are supporting "the Team" even if they don't like it. :) Ida

10. Don't be confused...
just try to ignore anything he says. Giuliani is a self-promoting cancer with only one goal-- to get himself as far as he possibly can.

It was bad enough that he was one of the worst US Attorneys at the time, blowing cases because he wouldn't stop leaking how good he was and misusing and destroying legal theories developed by other offices.

As mayor, he took personal credit for everything the unformed services did, and refused to even let them be interviewed. Firemen were heros... well, don't let the fire department talk about it. Announce to the world that it was your own heroism, strength and vision that got the job done.

Bullshit and a big hammer-- that's Guiliani.

14. That Is True, Mr. Apple
When this wretch lies, you can see the whites clear all around the iris. It is very noticeable, and a little disconcerting. He would not stand up well to an interrogation or an audit or an angry wife....

"LET'S GO GET THOSE BUSH BASTARDS!"

15. I've been a New Yorker for over 20 years,
and I think Guiliani was a failure as mayor. It's the rest of the country that seems to like the creep.

17. Rudy the fraud
No one exploited 9/11 more than this guy. By showing up and looking concerned he managed to wipe out years of being a right-wing loony who, if he had his way, would've dumped every NY homeless person into the East River and sold Manhattan to the highest corporate bidder.

18. Hastert has a telltale as well ...
when he's lying, he grins like a possum eating a grape. And when he restrains it, he ends up smirking like the Bush boy.

19. That's a really common one.
A lot of people look 'happier' when they are lying or bluffing, because they think they are getting one over on you.

And, BTW, when you discover that someone is lying to you, in most situations, it will be to your advantage if the person thinks you believed them.
