10. It was a complement! A heartfelt one!
I know you really do have a world of faith in Senator Clinton- certainly more than I do in Obama. And even if I dislike some of your attacks on Obama, I have the strong suspicion that you aren't one of those who would ever vote for McCainiac just because your candidate didn't win. If I'm wrong about that, please don't disillusion me: I've grown quite fond of you.

13. Part of me agrees with you
We need more tenacity and fight in the Democratic Party.

But read the manifesto again. It clearly blames the DNC for "manipulating the election", the media for "it’s (sic) biased coverage", party members for "taking them for granted"... it does nothing but blame outside forces for Hillary's loss.

Accepting responsibility for defeat and looking inward at how future strategy could be changed is much more productive and admirable.

Obama Says Clinton Is ‘Bush-Cheney Lite’
By KATHARINE Q. SEELYE and MICHAEL FALCONE
Published: July 27, 2007 July 27, 2007 July 27, 2007 July 27, 2007 July 27, 2007
Senator Barack Obama continued to press his case against Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton yesterday, calling her “Bush-Cheney lite,” which prompted her to fire back

— on camera — that the escalating dispute with Mr. Obama was “getting kind of silly.”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqhAJcHy4a0 BUSH CH LITE
“I’ve been called a lot of things in my life,” Mrs. Clinton said on CNN, “but I’ve never been called George Bush or Dick Cheney, certainly.”

You seem sincere...watch these and pay attention to the dates...WHO STARTED THE PERSONAL AND "RACIST" GARBAGE IN OUR PARTY??? i THINK YOU WILL FIND THE ANSWERS HERE.

62. I found no answers the BS you posted. Here's what you've been 'loofing' forward to:
As for the first link: I'm not sure how Russert asking Clinton questionable questions is any reflection on Obama, but here's Russert doing the same to Obama, just to neutralize your claims: http://rodonline.typepad.com/rodonline/2008/04/meet-the-press.html And please, any attempts to paint the media as bashing Clinton and catering to Obama need only look at the infamous ABC debate or bring up a whole host of clips from Faux News.

Per the second link: That was a stupid thing for Jesse Jackson, Jr. to say. Obama was careful not to engage in race at all. But if you want to talk race-baiting, those comments were no more stupid than Cuomo talking about Obama's "shuck and jive", Geraldine Ferraro's inflammatory comments, Bill comparing Obama's win in SC to Jesse Jackson's for no reason other than race, the Clinton aide telling the Guardian before Jackson's comments: "If you want Obama to be your imaginary hip black friend and you're young and you have no social needs, then he's cool." And if you're concerned with timeline, Hillary's downplaying of MLK came before all of this. But none of it is as bad as the attack Clinton herself eventually unleashed, trying to sway superdelegates by invoking the Wright "controversy".

Per the third link: a pure unadulterated fabrication. Clinton's ego makes her believe all comments are about her, but here's Obama's full speech, not selectively edited like yours: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvxNNjScNI0&feature=related He doesn't even mention Clinton in that quote. He says: "We can't be afraid to talk to our enemies. I'm not afraid of losing a PR war with Dictators. I'm happy to look them in eye and say what needs to be said. I'm happy to tell them what I think. I'm not going to hide behind a bunch of rhetoric. I don't want a continuation of Bush/Cheney. I don't want Bush/Cheney lite."

:hi: look forward to your reply

8. K & R Check out this poem
I am a woman and proud to be one
We handle it all and get the jobs done
From morning ‘til night we’re under the gun
We make the decisions while on the run

I am a woman and I’ll be clear
Lived most of my life in total fear
Molested and battered while being called dear
And not one said sorry, not one did I hear

I am a woman with something to say
So tired of the sexism day after day
The words that I’m hearing are not okay
Wounds are sliced open just like a filet

I am a woman who’s been deeply hurt
Don’t open my wounds, don’t rub in the dirt
I don’t do baking and won’t iron a shirt
Your words are offensive, vulgar, and curt

I am a woman who demands respect
Call me sweetie and it’s anger you’ll get
Sexism promotes violence, if you abet
You deserve hard time to pay off your debt

I am a woman and I have a brain
Masters Degree in Education grain
I am not stupid, I am not insane
Your words are like daggers causing more pain

I am a woman who’s fully alive
Force me in a room and who will survive
You had better duck, you had better dive
I’m locked and loaded with my 45

I am a woman and I have a heart
It angers me that two states can’t take part
Punish the voters, that’s not very smart
Don’t count all votes, splits the party apart

I am a woman and I always vote
Carefully weighing each fact and each quote
For the one that I won’t choose, please take note
I won’t take your blame or be your scapegoat

I am a woman with no equal rights
So don’t threaten me about civil rights
I’m too old to bear children, yeah that’s right
So don’t threaten me about pro-choice rights

I am a woman and now hear me roar
I won’t be silent when I’m called a whore
To all the sexists I’ll listen no more
To the DNC I am out the door

Lorie, Marietta GA, May 16, 2008

14. I have been at DU since 2001.
I don't have anyone on "Ignore",
and have alerted on very few posts over the years I have been an active membe of DU.

I alerted on this post because it is not a post that supports a candidate.
It is a post that directly attacks the Democratic Party, and a pledge to help elect Republicans in 2009.

27. thank you. I re-read the OP and it does violate DU rules
asking people to oppose the democratic party is 1.

bragging that they won't support the nominee is 2.

So I alerted on this OP as well.

The OP belongs at HillaryIs44 or some other right wing operation.

The rules advise that if we are working against the democratic nominee,
then its tombstone time.

41. why does OP refer to who they WONT vote for?
"No We Won’t:
Vote for a candidate doomed to lose"

How can you vote for someone who is not the nominee?

Since the OP is talking about who they won't vote for, they will have a choice -
vote for the democrat or republican.

Who does the OP refer to? That they won't vote for John McCain?

I don't think so.

This is more parsing of words, a typical Clinton trait.

This is becoming an embarrassment. Clinton ran a good race but it wasn't good enough. Now you're just handing the Republicans ammo. 51. Please. If it had been ANYONE besides Hillary CLINTON, she would've been considered done LONG ago.
I'm getting so tired of people saying the media and other people are trying to push Hillary out of the race. Just the opposite has happened. She was portrayed any way she WANTED to be portrayed-first as the "inevitable nominee," then as the "victim," then as the "fighter." She lost the delegate count in TX (which is the metric we use to decide who wins) yet was declared the winner, won PA by 9.2% yet was declared to have won by "double digits," and continued to get the coverage SHE wanted as the media used HER metrics, or at least entertained them. Now, FINALLY, a narrative of REALITY has set in and she (and her supporters) are crying "sexism" and "unfair"? Please.

63. NO WE WON'T
HAVE CONSISTENT POSITION!

"I want to thank all of my supporters and everyone I have met in Iowa over the past 11 months. I am in awe of your commitment to the WONDERFUL TRADITION OF THE CAUCUSES. Now they are here, and I hope that on January 3, you will stand up and be counted for me." - Hillary Clinton, before she started losing caucuses

"I personally did not think it made any difference whether my name was on the ballot. You know, It's clear this election they are having is not going to count for anything." - Hillary Clinton, before the MI primary

"I have consistently said that the votes cast in Florida and Michigan in January should be counted. " - Hillary Clinton, after the MI primary
