Unabashed Racist Wins GOP Primary
http://www.commondreams.org/headlines04/0806-08.htm

This is disgusting..is this really what our country is becoming? How could anyone in good concience even show up to vote for this guy in the primary? I think he basically shares the views of most Republicans..the rest just don't admit it so freely because they know it would be suicide.

1. Cool, that's a guaranteed seat for the Democratic Party this November.
Mr. Hart hasn't learned the art of subtlety.

From his site:
"What if they had integrated?
* There would never have been an electric light.
* There would never have been an automobile.
* There would never have been an airplane"

2. It will just be sad
to se ehim get 20-30% of the vote. That would mean 20-30% of Americans in that area are ok or in agreement with a nazi message. It shows how close to the brink we have always been.

3. Let's hope that most of the votes are people who pull the R lever
because they always vote Republican and not because they support this racist.

4. even if that is true
everyone in his district knows what he stands for. I live in Michigan and its top news here. If people vote for him it is a sign of approval. If a Democrat ever supported such a measure, I would never vote for him just for the sake of voting D.

5. Dont worry, this ignoramus wont win
John Tanner is very popular there, and Gore won this rural district even, though it was close, Tanner will win by a large margin because hes well liked by the more conservative voters because hes a conservative dem.
