1. He can encourage them, but once they're released, they're free to decide.

3. They're free to decide but it's extremely likely that most will move over to him.
If not all of them. I find it very hard to believe that there's going to be some miraculous exodus of delegates to Hillary at this point. She's torn her reputation to shreds and even her pledged delegates are starting to drift.

6. Um...OK.... That'll teach the guy who already has enough delegates to win.
I don't know what state you're from but I wouldn't be so arrogant about making predictions like that.

changed their stance. They feel they have an "obligation" to vote as they were charged. It is ashame others do not think so , no matter what candidate they support! JMHO.

15. That does make a difference.
I don't think Hillary's delegates are going to leave in any great numbers and they shouldn't. They made a pledge and should keep it.

7. maybe
I would think that in all fairness his pledged delegates, if they are assigned anywhere would be split in direct proportion to the percentages the other candidates got in the states they are from.. seems that would be fair way to do it...

16. That would have made sense 4 months ago...
But John waited till almost the end of the race to endorse; the landscape is vastly different now.

My hope is they will follow what ever path brings the party to unity and to a new focus on the GE.

And if they follow John's lead --- all paths point to an Obama administration.

8. I thin that all but around six or so had already declared for Obama.
As mentioned above, most of his delegates were in Iowa.
