Although it is a very interesting story, it is frustrating to people when SO MANY threads are started, and people cannot remember which post they made to which thread, and the fact that 10 new ones popped up , and sent the others to page 4... well you get the drift..

This is a lot of great work going on here.

Could I request that once this stuff is hashed out a little more that someone can post all the names and connections on three levels:

The vets: did they serve with Kerry & political connections
O'Neill: His entire history...and connections
Swiftvets: whose the money behind them. Honestly, I've read three different "main money sources"...is it all three? I wouldn't be surprised.

also connections with other wingnut groups. The Bartcop stuff tying it to the Freek Republic computer is a great smoking gun as are other little bits that create a bigger picture.

My esteem gratitude to all who are as outraged as I about this. Sheesh, even O'Reilly is with us on this. I need a shower!!!

One last suggestion...and that'd be a post in either the Activism or Media forums...something where things don't move as fast. I have seen a lot of repetitious strings here...and can see how that can confuse others trying to follow this thing as it develops.

This is excellent. The only thing I wish they'd said differently is that John O'Neill was recruited by Nixon to counter the protestors in general, and John Kerry in particular.

The footage and tapes of Nixon discussing Kerry with his staff, shown in MSNBC's "John Kerry:Bringing the War Home," say it all. They were worried about Kerry particularly after his testimony to the armed svcs committee ("He looks like a Kennedy, he talks like a Kennedy..."), and John O'Neill was their answer to Kerry's achievements.
