USA Today logic: The fact that Dems are more motivated bad news for Kerry
Edited on Tue Aug-03-04 06:52 PM by Democat
The fact that more Democrats are fired up at this point than Republicans isn't necessarily good news for Kerry. There's more maneuvering room for Republicans to gin up their base - and they still have their convention to do that.

This is Orwellian "1984" propaganda.

The fact that Democrats are more excited about Kerry than Republicans are about Bush is bad news for Kerry because it means that Republicans have more chance to gain?

That's like saying that it's better to be poor than rich because when you're poor you have more chance to increase your income.

Losing is better, bigger is smaller, better is worse.

What the fuck is wrong with the U.S. media?

2. The Media is Pro Bush
owned by the corporations.
I often read European news instead to get a better idea of what is going on in U.S. politics.

3. They're just using stupid Orwellian language to try and give
the advantage to bush..check out their donations to political parties..I don't know but I'd guess that the lion's share goes to the repukes..it's all about the tax cuts, baby.

Luckily, more Americans are catching on to the media..just slower than we did.

Let's bookmark this article by susan page and bring it on after Kerry/Edwards Wins! And then e-mail her and say.."What's up, susan?"

"Did we need a bounce or what?"

4. How can it not be good news? Our media has gone over to dark side
in the extremely creative and totally ridiculous ways they are trying to stomp out the groundswell of enthusiasm for Kerry/Edwards. Dems fired up means more donations to be used for ads and campaign events, more voter registration, more opportunities to build up the Dem and anti-Bush base.

5. If anyone is monitoring our media in Eurpope and I assume
they are...they must be recording this for their history books.

It will definetly go down as one of the worst examples of government propoganda.

6. This is what
http://www.democrats.com had to say about good ol' usa today..

"USA Today Turns Phony Poll Results into Excuse for Planting Bush Propaganda-Disguised-as-News
USA Today, which had showed signs of becoming a real newspaper there for a while - even running challenging stories on key issues for a time - has been brought to heel by the White House. This week, not only did USA Today disseminate the latest bogus poll results (Gallup/CNN) they used the outcry these results caused (which conflict with all other less Bushie polls and state by state results) as a pretext for running a long story that, under the guise of a "news article" is a FREE Bush campaign spot that lists all the reasons people should vote for Bush, while citing Kerry's "failings." But we guess USA Today wasn't allowed by its White House handlers to cover the rally this week (for ex.) in Grand Rapids MI, where 20,000 people showed up to cheer Kerry on, while just 4,000 showed up down the street to see Bush! Once again, we wonder: Is the creation of polls showing Bush ahead a ploy to make a stolen election seem more credible?"

And then the link is to the susan page story.

Great minds think alike and all that...

7. Headline November 3, 2004: The fact that Kerry/Edwards received
3 million more votes and 100 more electoral votes than shrub/Cheney is bad news for the Kerry campaign.
