Hillary will SUSPEND her campaign

Who wants to bet money that Hillary will face reality, but only half way, by announcing shes only suspending her campaign, and thus wait it out in hopes something bad will 'mysteriously' happen to Obama, like another Wright type event. And I wonder who would end up looking for such an event.

3. Everyone 'suspends' if they have outstanding debt

otherwise they would basically have to declare bankruptcy, which is humiliating. Don't assign too much importance to this bit of terminology.

Theres nothing imaginary about all the horrible stuff Hillary has done in this campaign. Its all most people expect from her at this point.

10. I'm missing the outrage in the OP.

It was a conjecture that the Clinton campaign will soon be suspended. I conjecture that the admins here will soon make a decision.

11. That's actually a pretty good idea.

Hillary has painted herself into a corner, especially with her rhetoric since last Tuesday.

If she suspends her campaign, she avoids the following:

1. Continued damage to the now presumptive nominee Obama and the Democratic Party.

2. She saves face, which is a good thing. She'll still be in the Senate where she can continue to serve and where she's done a credible job. (Note: I did not say "perfect job".)

3. Her supporters in upcoming primary states won't feel stranded. (Also a very good thing.)

Nota bene: Zogby is predicting that Clinton will be forced into shutting things down soon. Apparently he says that there will be another 30 SDs going to Obama within the next 48 hours.
