1. Look at the map
not a single urban county is in yet, and people near Chicago are still voting.

15. Tell me about it.
I used to work for a company where our product's location (and thus time zone, including DST) was of utmost importance. Indiana used to really piss us off. :-)

Edited on Tue May-06-08 05:45 PM by rocknation
Anything around 40% helps Obama--because what Hillary really needs is 69% of the vote.

8. so far it looks like what we've seen before. Obama loses the rural counties and does well in urban
areas; although, no urban results are in yet so, maybe not...but probably. I see in Sullivan county, there's about 600 votes for Democratic candidates and about 100 votes for Republican candidates. Looks the same all over acrually. There's something to talk about.

Exit polls have some value, but starting a thread for the first box reported is silly.

only rural areas are reporting.

Hillary does well there.

Exits are taken from all over to get an accurate reading.

16. They should NOT be reporting #s with people still voting...

People in the urban areas could tune in, see these inaccurate numbers, and be discouraged from voting.

This is wholly irresponsible. There should be a law against reporting returns before all polls have closed.

32. looking at the Indiana map so far, I have to disagree with that.
He's looks to be getting beaten pretty badly in the vast majority of Indiana's counties. This is going exactly as we all knew it would go, the same as it went in ohio and Pennsylvania. He's being rejected by everyone who lives outside of the urban counties.

24. Too early to predict
and let's do some math here. He needs 280 to close his gap to the Nom.
Pledged: 1493
Superdelegates: 252
Total: 1,745

HRC only has 1602. IN nets her what? 85? 72 primary, and 13 supers. So
1602
+ 85
______
1687

Which if she does her math right for once and realizes the number to hit is 2025, this still leaves her short by 338. Where is she going to pick up 338 delegates?

NC nets Obama 115 plus, I think, 19 supers for a total of 134. Even if he lost 2 of those, which I think he has, This brings him up to 1877. Only 148 to go to hit his mark.
