Internal Polling
It just hit me. This whole notion of Clinton fighting to the end may not be about actual delegates at all. It may just be to establish critical internal polling data that Hillary can then use in her back-room dealings. If she can show a recent trend, i.e., the last few primaries before the convention, of a large margin of victory amongst key demographics (white voters, middle-class voters, older people, etc) she can take that to her meetings and make a case that Obama will not win these groups in November. This will be done in private of course because it could have the appearance of closet racism, but that's what she's going to do.

Hillary knows she can't catch Obama. It's going to have to be the internal polling data that propels her to victory.

2. Clinton's strategy
The more I think about it, the more clear it becomes. Hillary will shove this internal polling data in the SD's faces and say that Obama can't carry middle-class, blue-collar, meat and potatoes Democrats in November.

3. it is not going to work
claiming the white middle class blue collar worker will not vote for a black man that has clearly stated that the one problem with america is the lack of jobs. he has stated that there needs to be a revision of our trade deals that both democratic and republican presidents have signed. since hillary`s husband signed the nafta we have more "illegals" come across the border because nafta has destroyed the small mexican farms.

let her whine and cry all she likes but she can not hide the fact that she has no claim to the white blue collar worker

5. I beg to differ
I think she can cite internal polling data that shows Obama does not do as well as she does with blue collar, working class whites. Especially the big states like Ohio and PA. Indiana will be an interesting test. That's a big chunk of voters.

Here's Hillary's pitch (made in private of course): "Sure Obama will carry 90+ percent of the black vote. But guess what? I will too. Black people always go about 90% for the Dem candidate. So Obama does not advance the party in that regard. And sure Obama will carry the young voters. But guess what? Young voters (especially college kids) do not vote in the numbers that older people do. And I have huge majorities amongst older voters. And look at my small-town, blue-collar polling data from PA and OH. I win big majorities over Obama in those groups. Obama will simply not bring in the necessary votes in November."

Not saying it will work. But she has a halfway legitimate argument.

4. The Clintons don't realize that they have already LOST ... The Clintons, et. al., underestimate ...
the AWARENESS of The American People - who have, in no small part, been "made smart" through the free flowing communications of GORE'S Internet. ;)

The Clintons may STEAL the Democratic Nomination but FAIL to realize that, when times are tough, the people will rise up and reject their illegitimate stranglehold on our party.

May God forgive me because I resent what the Clintons have done almost as much as I despise Bush. Why? Because "the Clintons" WERE one of us. NO MORE. They Sin ... it's vile. :(

The Senior Disinformation Minister for the Power Elite, one each, Chris Matthews - has repeatedly dismissed the power of the Net Roots to the point of labeling us "The Pajama Hudeen." Guess what WSJ? Whorsington Post? and pseudo-journalistic corporate M$M whores? ...

We're making a marked difference and AVERAGE AMERICANS are paying attention. The Ruling Elites (both Parties) can NO LONGER operate in a vacuum.
