Why was Obama the one asked about The Weatherman instead of Clinton?
As Obama pointed out Bill Clinton pardoned 2 former members of that group. All Obama did was served on the same board as William Ayers for a anti-poverty group. So why would this question be posed to Obama and not Clinton? I think we all know the answer to this question.

So come on Clinton supporters, you have to be down right insulted by this. These are issues we will have to deal with if Obama wins the nomination (something you have to admit is extremely likely). They have been rolling out this unpatriotic charge for a long time and it now seems ABC is trying to put it in to hyperdrive by totally smearing Obama in this regard. I know all Obama supporters are pissed off about this, I ask all Hillary supporters to please do the same. If you haven't written or called ABC about this yet please do. If you are a Clinton supporter please get a hold of her campaign so she makes an issue out this. This shit needs to stop now, as democrats we need to stand together on this and make clear to the media that this dishonest campaign will not be tolerated.

2. cosign - it was a hit job.
It is in their best interest to make this race go on longer, hence, they must attack Obama full-bore before he takes this thing.

3. Because they want the primary to continue for one of two reasons
1. Continued campaign spending by three candidates instead of two.
2. This helps their friend, Grandpa McCain, campaign for president.

5. "All he did was serve on the same board."
LOL! He knows Ayers! Clinton probably was not personally acquainted with the Weathermen he pardoned. Actually, I don't care one way or the other about either candidate's involvement with Ayers or any other Weathermen.

But this is funny. Now you want our support. After attacking us personally, calling us Nazis and racists, you want our support. After calling our candidate everything from a whore to the person solely responsible for the Iraq war, we are supposed to stand with you.

Thanks, but no thanks. I will vote for the nominee. But the Obama supporters on this board get nothing from me.

7. Too bad they didn't mention the FALN. That was more
recent, and would have been an oops! Clinton couldn't explain. Maybe someone will call her on it.

She wants to reap the bennies of her husband, she should 'enjoy' them all.

9. I called you a nazi? A racist?
Care to point me where I called you any of these things?

I'm sure that you were called these things by some idiots on the Obama side. I've been called a sexist, a pig, and worse by Clinton supporters. What does that have to do with anything? This is about the media trying to paint Obama as a traitor, if you have no problem with that then whatever, I hope you liked how this country has been ran for the last 8 years because when this smearing conintues in the GE McCain will be elected.

13. Who gives a shit?
Why not ask Bush about his family ties to Ollie North, Gary Powers (whom he ran a business for in Honduras growing "vegetables" and actually FLEW WITH) and radical militias?

14. Because Hillary was not the one they were trying to paint as the America-hating terrorist-lover,
There was a common theme to all of the gotcha questions aimed at Obama.

Why does your former pastor hate America, why did you work on a charitable organization with an America-hating terrorist, why do you hate America so much that you refuse to wear a flag pin, are you more patriotic than your former minister.

15. Clinton is now facing questions about Weather Underground
Reporter To Wolfson: What Does Hillary Think Of Bill's Pardons Of Weather Underground Members?

By Greg Sargent - April 17, 2008, 11:10AM

David Corn of Mother Jones and Hillary spokesperson Howard Wolfson went at it hard on the Hillary conference call today -- with Corn repeatedly demanding to know what Hillary thinks of the fact that her husband pardoned two members of the Weather Underground.

Wolfson said he'd ask her. It's probably a question that the Hillary campaign will be pressed on in the days ahead.

Hillary hit Obama hard over his ties to former Weather Underground member William Ayers at the debate yesterday. And on the call today, Hillary advisers kept up the pressure, pointing out that Ayers hosted an event at his home for Obama when he ran for state senator and that this was a legitimate topic for journalistic scrutiny.

It's an intriguing move, to say the least. The Clinton camp was so eager to get Ayers' name into the political conversation that they were willing to risk not one, but two possible blowbacks: First, the inevitable criticism they'll take for going so negative; and second, questions about Bill's pardons.

~snip~

18. Perhaps she would like to face the fact
that she glossed over in her biography.

During a summer internship she interned at a mega lefty (sorry could not think of a better word, but do not mean to offend but in the overall context of what I am trying to convey it fits the best) law firm in San Francisco.

This firm supported some real anti-war and other very left leaning types that we at least akin to Dorian and Ares.

I saw this alluded to several months ago in a somewhat lengthy article, but I do not remember where.

I do remember thinking that this is the kind of taylor made things that the GOP will use to slice and dice her.

It also underscored the fact that Hillary will bearly mention this or touch on it.

The lawyers still there are also reticent to comment due to not wanting to hurt Hillary electoral chances.

If this the way the Clinton folks desire to play ball, than perhaps Obama's team need to do a little research and remind Hillary of this and see if she likes to see the other side of the coin.
