RELAX FOLKS: What Last Night's Debate Proved
The Republicans HAVE NOTHING! ZIP! NADA!

Sure they blindsided Obama with a couple sucker punches but Snuffy and Gibs did us a favor. He shot the rethugs whole steaming load and the public was thoroughly disgusted.

1. I agree
it will make these arguments just bit more old and tired when the Republicans start tossing them around.

2. That's true enough, but it doesn't make Snuffy and Gibs any less lame
and embarrassing to watch.

3. Hillary sure did help as well
Didn't she at one point mention Obama and Hamas in the same sentence? That went even further than ABC. We need more of that from her. She needs to start calling him by "Barack Hussein Obama" and stuff. The more that comes out now, the better.

4. It also proved that Obama couldn't stand the heat from Hillary and two
moderators, so he couldn't possibly stand up against world leaders .

7. He withstood the heat from all three of them just fine, she looked petty,
desperate and a loser. Check out the polls today, including MSN...He's way ahead...

11. Sorry, I know no such thing. He looked as tired as she did, but her
desperation really shows in the eyes. Age will do that to us...

15. I think he looked disgusted at Hillary and the nature of the questions
I think he deserves credit for not just walking off stage in disgust.

Hillary acted like Madame Hannity last night.

14. But he couldn't close the deal...
...when asked about Hillary's credibility. He should have body-slammed her, in a verbal sense. He changed the subject, however. He's a little weak in the knees.

8. Looked like he walked off the stage under his own power to me....
Edited on Thu Apr-17-08 08:27 AM by sshan2525
Do all you Hillbots view the world through a different filter than I do? Neither Obama nor Hillary were particularly good last night. Then again, neither was asked a decent question. The only thing one can deduce from last night is that the MSM is a tragic clusterfuck.

16. good thing you're not biased
For some reason a lot of people disagree and feel that Obama came out on top.

I think he came across shocked at some of the questions thrown at him.

12. Exactly how did he prove anything?
Did he lose his temper? Did he say something stupid? Did he come out with a major "Ooops" moment?

He stood up to it quite well.

IMO he was probably over restrained because so pissed at Hillary's dirty tricks statements and that she was acting like an immature Right Wing Shill herself.

5. People must stop thinking every Repuglican attack is Fatal. That's what HC wants you to think and
Hillary is WRONG about that.

If his netroots are up to it (and not out there just pissing more folks off), Obama is being Inoculated as we speak.

6. I'm quoting a line from a situation comedy here...
"Our candidates could set an orphanage on fire on Christmas Eve and they still wouldn't be as unpopular as the Republicans are right now".
