Poll after poll prove it: Hillary has turned it around
Remember Hillary's plan to sweep Super Delegates is to finish strong and prove to them that they must over turn the results of the pledged delegates because she has the momentum. Well she did turn it around just about everywhere.

Hillary will need AT LEAST 65% of the popular vote--and in ALL of the remaining contests, not just PA and NC.

106. 60 per cent of the vote in ALL six of the contests is what Hillary needed on March 4
Edited on Wed Apr-16-08 03:15 PM by rocknation
She came close only in Rhode Island. That pushed her ante up to 64%--and now that it's been certified that Obama won Texas 99 delegates to 94, it's a little higher.

18. And for people who care about the truth....
http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsmemo.com/2008/04/cq_clinton_track_for_only_a_sm.php

"Although Hillary Clinton has an edge in Pennsylvania polls, an analysis by CQ shows that the current numbers would not project out to a huge delegate advantage. Of the 103 pledged delegates distributed at the district level -- another 55 will be allocated by statewide popular vote -- Clinton so far has an advantage of only 53 delegates to Obama's 50.

Assuming the statewide delegates closely match with the district votes, Clinton will need to seriously increase her lead at all levels in order to really put any kind of dent in Obama's pledged-delegate advantage."

26. Not true
1) Hillary's attacks on Obama are not helping here at all as shown in the OP. They are having a negative impact on Obama and a positive impact on McCain.

2) Obama is still performing much better in most markets than Clinton.

3) Clinton's last remaining hope of overturning the popular and delegate vote was that she had an overwhelming advantage in the general election. There is simply no evidence of that

4) After a year campaigning Hillary Clinton has persuaded virtually no new democrats to support her. One year ago she was at 37% and today she is at 40%

we like our Guns and God as much as the next fellers, and we also

You can see, here and test what Obama is doing, he has been behind a gigantic
voter registration effort in NC.

He has busted his ass to attract and involve more people in the process, instead of
trying to drive them out like Hillary.

What's interesting is that Obama is leading McCain even though he hasn't won the dem nomination yet.

Edited on Tue Apr-15-08 06:59 PM by Alii
Obama just climbed up another rung on the Gallup Poll ladder since your post. Yep, bitter-gate is accomplishing it's goal for Hillary.

Oops, guess y'all already picked up on this.

When Obama is named the democratic candidate y'all will probably rally around Keith Olbermann...again.

Watch tonight's show...interesting. Is Rendell's allegiance slipping? Slowly?

Miles to go before...next Tuesday.

The handwriting on the wall is becoming more bold by the day.

Yep, the pleasingly plump lady is warming up her vocals.

104. Just imagine if ONLY big states counted in the GE...
In 2000:

Al Gore: 132
54 - California
33 - New York
23 - Pennsylvania
22 - Illinois

Bush: 78
32 - Texas
25 - Florida
21 - Ohio

or in 2004:

John Kerry: 128
55 - California
31 - New York
21 - Illinois
21 - Pennsylvania

Bush: 81
34 - Texas
27 - Florida
20 - Ohio

Revisionist history is sometimes fun (and sad!)...

89. Are you taking some kind of anti-depression medication?
Hillary has about a 3% chance of being the nominee.

Nominees are not picked on polls. They are picked on delegates. You can add states won. Add the popular vote if you want.

It is nearly mathematically IMPOSSIBLE that Hillary Clinton will be the nominee. Get over it.

there can be no question that Hillary has turned her position in the polls around

Look at the polls. Look at where she is going. Now just you tell me that she hasn't turned it around.

(I am guessing you only looked at the title lol)

97. just recently saw Bill Clinton groveling to a crowd to donate $5-$10-$25.
they are hard up for cash, soon they'll be asking kids for penny banks. Of course they won't tap that $100M bank account of they have unless it is a loan accruing some interest.

100. Please Read

Presidential contender Barack Obama has wiped out his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton's yawning lead in Indiana and trails by just five points in Pennsylvania, according to a new poll Tuesday.

Ahead of the crunch Pennsylvania primary next Tuesday, the Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg poll suggested that Obama has not suffered overly from his description of working-class voters as "bitter."

Yea for you grantcart.....

You sure know how to help my learning disabilities and lift my spirits at the same time. :)
I like the way you lay out the polls ~ I have to see lots of colors and I love it when Obama's color line goes UP! :bounce:

When I'm stupid enough to watch Morning Joe all I get its "McCain is winning" and Hillary is doing so well in PA because it's close to Ohio."

I love this news ~it is "bitter" sweet. :bounce:
