7. How is agreeing with the public's dim assessment bad?
What is the outlook?

CNN/Opinion Research Corporation Poll. April 10-12, 2007. N=1,218 adults nationwide. MoE ± 3.

Fairly Well: 40%
Pretty Badly: 34%

Unsure: 1%

NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll conducted by the polling organizations of Peter Hart (D) and Bill McInturff (R). March 7-10, 2008. N=approx. 500 registered voters nationwide.

Worse Off 43%
About the Same 21%

...and people's opinion of government?

It's safe to say people aren't too happy with what is going on and with the government. That doesn't make them bad people--as Hillary's camp has implied that people are too good to be bitter? (strange reasoning)--and it certainly doesn't mean Barack is out of touch with the mood of the country

10. File under "I have to laugh, or I'd just cry all day"
Or, to misquote Emma Goldman, "If I can't laugh, I don't want to be part of your revolution"!
B-) :banghead:
