The reason for outrage over Hillary's joke

Sniper fire is not a matter that you either lie about to gain something politically or to joke about to cover up your blatant lie. Her actions are displaying her lack of sensitivity for this particular issue.

Why am I not surprised that Hillary voted for IWR or that she has not apologized for it?

And if people have been making jokes about sniper fire then shame on them. :grr:

Hillary is not an average DU member. She is running for the president. I hold her to higher standards. If she thinks joking about sniper fire or lying about it is OK then she should not be the commander in chief.

You were not under sniper fire Hillary but you lied and joked about it, I am sure there were many of our troops in Iraq who as a result of your vote were murdered because of sniper fire.

Now if Duers believe I should not be outraged then go ahead and give me crap.

I don't differentiate between a DU member making a sniper joke (even me!) or a Presidential Candidate. Nor would I make a distinction between the two on a Monica joke, a Rezko joke, a Wright joke or a McCain is dumber than Geico Caveman joke.

This outrage is dumb and fuels the moronic debate here. She attempted to diffuse her situation through humor, and you can judge that on its merits. But there have been so many sniper jokes here that it is dumb to even try to pull this outrage crap.
