Edited on Thu Apr-03-08 10:29 AM by KansasVoter
She will not release the numbers until 2 days before the PA elections!!

Something tells me the Hillary Political Machine did not raise much money in March.

If the numbers were good she would release them to show she is still a viable candidate!!

Why, with all of her supporters, are they not willing to make small donations to her?

Obama supporters are donating under a $100 each. Hillary, if she really had support, could also.

Very telling to me.

GE funds too.

The next disclosure might show she is even more in the red than in February.

She's beginning to look like she is not viable.

Which makes me wonder...how does she think she can fund a primary campaign in Florida and Michigan? I think maybe she is full of it.

The Clinton Tax Returns: What Will They Reveal?
An ABC News Review Has Found the Clintons Have Made More Than $50 Million Since Leaving the White House

Hillary Clinton has been pulling out all the stops to win the Democratic nomination for president -- but one: she still has not released her family's tax returns.

The campaign says they will release the documents sometime before April 15. Without them, many questions remain about how the Clintons made tens of millions of dollars -- and whether they used arcane tax loopholes available to the super-rich, an expert says. A Clinton campaign spokesman says the couple has paid all U.S. taxes at ordinary income tax rates

10. u have to be joking
I think she is hoping that a big win in PA will bring in money but if Obama gets it close its probably over.

If Obama goes on and wins Indiana & NC after a close PA race there wont be any money left or reason to keep going on.

I just wish PA voters would come to their senses and put a end to this and vote for Obama. For the good of the party lets end this thing!

11. look for the numbers to be fudged when they DO come out. She'll mix GE & Primary donations
into one figure. This gives her the headlines and the truth won't come out until after the election in PA.

21. If the GE plus Primary number looked good they would have released it.
Makes me think that even her maxed out Primary donors aren't contributing for the GE.

And the GE funds are refundable if she doesn't make it anyway...

Collapse of confidence perhaps?

Maybe her big donors have given up.

32. You mean like February's # lies? She said she had $33 million COH
when really she only had $11 million (w/$8.7 million in debts + the $5 million loan owed to her)?

Yeah, she'll lie - it's a Clinton family trait.

12. We already know which campaign is more responsive to releasing of information.
Of course, it helps when the information is positive. But, every step of the way, the Obama campaign has been out front whether in the release of tax returns or fundraising numbers.

I am looking forward to a more open government and the end of the mentality of secrecy that currently permeates our government.

24. My thoughts exactly.
Must be less than 20 mil if they're allowing that number to float around, but they dont want to confirm it as it will increase calls for her to get out.

Though... its not as if we dont all know the reason they're hiding the numbers. Whats the logic in keeping quiet on a big number? None that I know.

this is why she is releasing the taxes as close as well. All it does is lessen the time btw the primary and the scrutiny.

36. The problem is if they announce today
and the numbers are awful, people start writing her off now, and the donations from now until 4/20 dry up.

She obviously still needs a lot of money if she is going to have any chance to hit the numbers she needs in PA.

34. Because they're cowards, that's why
Just like they conveniently let the news of her $5 million campaign loan come out after Super Tuesday, because they knew voters would have recoiled if they had known how badly she managed her finances. Now she's trying to pull the same trick on Pennsylvanians and hope they'll be too caught up in campaign fever close to election day to pay attention.

Truly pathetic.

I'm sure it won't be $55 million, but I'm hoping for at least $35ish million, perhaps even $40 million or so. This month will likely be bigger for both of them since the PA primary is towards the end of the month.
