I will vote republican if candidate X doesn't get the democratic nomination!

I can't imagine any dem so short sighted, so angry and wanting to get even so badly.

I think there are no voters who will actually,as opposed to threaten to,do this.

that she would probably hold her nose and vote for her. 8 years ago, she probably would have voted for McCain over Gore if he had gotten the Republican nomination, but she has lost a lot of respect for McCain since he wrapped his arms around Bush. Hopefully other Democrats who once respected McCain have come to the same conclusion. But I do think part of our problem is that we just don't hate McCain as much as we hate Bush, so we are less motivated to come together and beat him.

5. A woman said that yesterday, at the DEM Convention!

She was a Hillary delegate from my precinct. The other Hillary delegates were shocked that she'd say that. She was roundly criticized and left in a huff. ;)

This one Hillary supporter just looked at her and said "You're not a democrat then, why are you here?" And another said something along the lines of if Jesus ran as a republican, he'd still vote for the democrat.

The only way I would vote for Hillary would be if she won the election legitimately, meaning that she won a majority of pledged delegates. I would even be willing to concede her win in FL, which would be a net gain of ~40 delegates. MI was a sham, so they should be split 50/50, so basically they don't count. So if she could actually pull to within 40 pledged delegates, without tearing apart the Democratic party in the process, she will at least get my vote if she ended up with the nomination. Otherwise, I would just not vote for President.

I was born and raised in Manhattan and lived on LI for 20 years. I am college educated and my family income is over $100,000. That is not Hillary's base, although I am an older, white woman.

I never really knew what a redneck was until I moved to Florida (ugh), not by choice I may add.
