George Bush has failed our country. And our top priority between now and November must be making absolutely certain that the American people hold him accountable.

This administration will say anything to avoid responsibility for the massive mistakes it has made. But John Kerry is our candidate, and he will not let them hide -- and you can help by supporting his campaign now:

George Bush cannot be trusted to tell the truth. He misled us about Iraq and his administration's paranoid secrecy cuts the public off from information about our government's actions. He would not testify under oath to the September 11th commission -- and could not even meet it in private without Dick Cheney's supervision.

34. I donated $0.00 to Kerry

I refuse to donate to Kerry's campaign. As one who strongly opposed the Iraq War, I refuse to donate to the pro-war Dems.

Also, one of Kerry's national fundraising chiefs is former senator Torricelli, who was driven out of the senate for ethics violations. Torricelli gave $50K from his former senate war chest ot the 527 group -- Americans for Jobs and Healthcare -- that ran those Repuke-style ads against Dean in Iowa. As far as I'm concerned, Kerry can re-mortgage his half of his Beacon Hills mansion again.

I gave Dean $2,000 of my hard earned money because I believed that if he became President he would work relentlessly for the average American, like me. I don't believe that about Kerry. The first thought in Kerry's mind on his Inaugeration Day will be how to get re-elected. With Dean, I felt that he would do his best to solve the deficit and foreign policy disasters Bush is leaving in his wake.

I'll vote for Kerry in November, but CT is a safe state and my vote won't really help Kerry.
