I think that he is an extremely intelligent and decent man. He will be a great president that will return dignity and honesty to the office.

I think he is not fighting every stupid lie and attack from Bush because as I heard today on AirAmerica "you should not commit murder on somebody that is already committing suicide." However, sometimes I wish he would come out swinging because all that swill from the Bush hordes drives me crazy.

Besides, he is OUR CANDIDATE and we need to succeed.

3. for me, Kerry's most positive trait:

He discusses/listens to people who are more knowledgeable than he on matters of policy. This means he understands the implications of policy and will be thoughtful in making policies which will affect the world.

Hence: he is NOT an IDEALOGUE. He won't make decisions "from the gut".

4. I like Kerry a lot

Good solid Democrat.

Not as left a Kucinch or Nader.

Left of Clinton, Gore and Lieberbush.

But he has heart. He was a good prosecuter, did stuff for rape shelters in Boston, solid overall voting record.

Watch his speech on women's issues in his acceptance of the NARAL endorsement.
