Jeanne Shaheen not good on Hardball last night

I saw her on Hardball last night and she simply wasn't a good defender of Kerry. I've seen her before and found her long winded, unclear answers and halting delivery came across poorly on tv.

Anyone else notice this?

I saw other guests on other shows last night where the spokeperson on the Kerry side was much much better. Why is Shaheen such a disappointment in this respect? Was she a good governor and better in person in New Hampshire?

allowed to make insane statements on talkshow programs without being challenged?

3. I'm sure she has things

to offer the campaign, but from what I've heard defending Kerry against the rightwing hate machine is NOT one of them. I hope they find better speakers soon, I remember I wasn't impressed with the ones from the Gore campaign either.

4. She was pretty awful, frankly.

Dean, Clark, Edwards and even Gephardt do a better job of defending the Senator than does Gov. Shaheen. They need to utilize her elsewhere in the campaign, and keep her off talk shows, IMO.
