With the major Chicago newspapers vindicating Obama on Rezko, what will be Penn's new talking point?
The Chicago Tribune indicates that it's satisfied with Obama's account of Rezko.

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama waited 16 months to attempt the exorcism. But when he finally sat down with the Tribune editorial board Friday, Obama offered a lengthy and, to us, plausible explanation for the presence of now-indicted businessman Tony Rezko in his personal and political lives.

The most remarkable facet of Obama's 92-minute discussion was that, at the outset, he pledged to answer every question the three dozen Tribune journalists crammed into the room would put to him. And he did.

Four Sun-Times columnists write on Obama and Rezko, and none really sees a smoking gun : http://blogs.suntimes.com/sweet/2008/03/sweet_suntimes_...

What will Mark Penn have to say now?

2. Probalby something like, "Rezko isn't Obama's blood brother, as far as we know."
Penn is such a slimey POS.

5. How about 92 minutes on WMD, DSM and other assorted Iraq lies
That's what I'd like from Hillary, with hard hitting journalists who know their stuff.

6. The Sun Times hasn't been all that friendly towards Obama thus far
So that makes this even more significant.

Maybe Penn should actually try to come up with something that OBAMA did, instead of continuing to blame him for something someone else did.
