A sincere thanks to Hillary

CNN) — Spokesmen for Hillary Clinton's campaign on Saturday repeatedly declined to comment on Barack Obama's reaction to his former minister Jeremiah Wright's controversial sermons.

"Senator Obama addressed it, voters are going to look at what he had to say, and we'll take it from there," Clinton Press Secretary Phil Singer said of the issue on a conference call with reporters.

"That's really for Senator Obama to address," Clinton strategist Mark Penn also said on the same call.

1. This Hillary supporter is so happy that her campaign didn't go there.

6. Just a reminder that this stuff came from the McCain campaign, which is also
managed by the firm that Mark Penn owns. I view anything coming out of the Clinton and McCain campaigns as coordinated activities. It is a blatant conflict of interest that taints the Clinton campaign greatly.

2. Good for them
I have regained a little bit of respect for Clinton for the way her campaign has handled this. I hope her supporters will follow their candidates' lead and help us defend Obama against a right wing smear attack, as I know I would do (and have done) if Clinton is the victim of a swiftboat attack like this.

7. Yea but...
dont expect the repugs to be so kind in the general election.
All the people on DU whining about Hillary's evil tactics are going to be in for a rude awakening come November - you aint seen nothin yet! The right-wing smear machine is going to eat Obama alive.

It sucks but it's true.
