Obama's spirtual advisor: Bill did us, just like he did Monica Lewinsky. He was riding dirty

During a Christmas sermon, Wright tried to compare Obama's upbringing to Jesus at the hands of the Romans.

"Barack knows what it means living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich white people," Wright said. "Hillary would never know that.

"Hillary ain't never been called a nigger. Hillary has never had a people defined as a non-person."

In his Jan. 13 sermon, Wright said:

"Hillary is married to Bill, and Bill has been good to us. No he ain't! Bill did us, just like he did Monica Lewinsky. He was riding dirty."

Edited on Wed Mar-12-08 08:40 PM by jmg257

"Senator Obama has said repeatedly that personal attacks such as this have no place in this campaign or our politics, whether they're offered from a platform at a rally or the pulpit of a church," said Bill Burton, a campaign spokesman.

"Senator Obama does not think of the pastor of his church in political terms. Like a member of his family, there are things he says with which Senator Obama deeply disagrees."

The Obama campaign issued a statement in response to FOX News' inquiries about Wright's sermons.

Edited on Wed Mar-12-08 08:49 PM by jmg257
"Obama defended Wright's longtime activism for blacks in America last week at a campaign event in Ohio.

"Jeremiah Wright ... has said some things that are considered controversial because he's considered that part of his social gospel," Obama said.

From same article.

17. Again. We don't give a FAT RAT'S ASS about Rev. Wright or Obama's church. We're voting for OBAMA!!!!
Wright is the retiring pastor of Obama's church. He is not his "spiritual advisor." That's just RePUBICan talking points. Is Anti-Catholic Rev. Hagee in San Antonio, McCain's spiritual advisor? Catholics should definitely not be voting for McCain.

29. And the funny part is you don't get it. You're caught up in the shock value
but what you don't get is the larger picture, which is that HRC can no longer rely on the black vote. There is genuine hurt, anger, and a sense of betrayal in the black community because HRC's actions have now reached an entirely disgusting level. So keep posting the most shocking comments you can while missing the point.

30. How many sermons in the past has Pastor Wright denigrated the Clintons?
Just curious. Is there an archive somewhere of all his sermons? Because I'd really like to know how long he's had such a hatred for the Clintons that he would use this type of vulgar language in a Christmas sermon, for gawd's sake, of all times. Peace and good will toward men. Ha!

Has Obama ever been called a c*nt? Nope, didn't think so.

42. quoting from Obama's minister - your disgraceful status from yesterday has gone to your head
You were much more enjoyable arguing that Obama landslides were a victory for Clinton because it was marginally less great of another more recent landslide in an ajoining state.

We were hoping that you would apply some of that keen intellectual spin on the Mississipi results.

When you have a thread will you please address that please.

Everybody can use a good laugh.

I alerted on a huckabee thread yesterday from an obama supporter quoting huckabee on Hillary's experience. Thats acceptable right? a pro huckabee thread? HIGHlarious and ridiculous
