Samantha Power is smarter, more talented and more capable than either Clinton or Obama
She would be a tremendous asset to any Democratic Administration. Obama is a fool for accepting her resignation, and Clinton is a fool for attacking her.

1. No, Obama's campaign had to do it.
If they hadn't, you'd be hearing about the off-the-record comment for the next six weeks.

4. I'm sure he will... but you see how much air that story is getting
even with her resignation.

Just imagine if she hadn't...

12. Because the Clintons never miss an opportunity to manipulate the media
By slinging mud and playing victim at the same time. They have no sense of decency and no respect for anything other than their own pursuit of power.

5. Apparently not so much.
Really smart people wouldn't have fucked up like she did.

9. She gaffed, Hillary bit.
And, now we just keep hearing Hillary in the same sentence as Monster.

13. Oh please
She's not a politician, she's not a spokeswoman for the campaign, she's not even a paid advisor to the campaign.

She is a brilliant liberal mind. She was giving an interview as part of her book tour, a book which has nothing to do with the election. She's passionate about what she believes in, and she spoke her mind. I still think she was completely blindsided by an unethical reporter.

If people can't get over that, regardless of who they support, they need to put down the kool-aid.

6. Let's just hope that she still is involved!
She can whisper her advice (or pass it on via emails, whatever) and no one will be the wiser! Once Obama wins, she can take a visual role again!

7. She'll be back. In the meantime enjoy how many times we hear
Hillary and Monster in the same sentence.

8. yes, she is wonderful
I went to amazon and supported her with a purchase.

I hope she sees an uptick in book sales as a means of 'support' from the left.

10. If he were already in office, he could have kept her
but since this is the season of being under the microscope he'll have to bring her back later. This is like when Don Imus made his comments and he gets canned only to get his job back after time has healed the wound.

16. She is a shrill, vicious bitch and a sore loser. Smart is not the most important of qualities and
she is hardly capable or talented.

Unless she twirls a baton.
