Where's the experience?
Now that Clinton has come out and semi-endorsed McCain I am left wondering where all this experience she's touting comes from. I will agree that at the age of 60 she does have 14 more years of living than Obama but she has absolutely no more years in elected office then he. You can claim that she was first lady of Arkansas then the U.S. but that is usually a nominal role in which the wife of the president chooses a pet project and gets a small budget to carry it out for public relation reasons. I know Hillary Clinton did manage the travel office (which came under very close scrutiny for unscrupulous practices) and the health care proposal (which failed miserably) but other than those I can't think of too very much she did while first lady. Obama, on the other hand was a teacher and a civil rights attorney for years, which sounds like pretty good experience to me.

So please, Clinton supporters, tell me what experience she has over Obama that makes her so qualified to be president.

5. Basically, Clinton has the same non-electoral success rate of bush*.
Which is, of course, none whatsoever. Hillary Clinton has not successfully completed any project that I know of, much like the moran in the white house now. Is that really what we want? She's just another entitled elitist from a well connected family who's been able to blow smoke up everyone's ass about nonexistant "experience".

Great! :eyes:

many foreign leaders as First Lady, but how many of them are still holding office now? Anzar? Berlusconi? Blair? Howard? Hello?

11. I've met dozens of national politicians...
but that doesn't qualify me for public office. This whole "experience" flap has really driven it home for me. Clinton is not fit for the office of president based on her own criteria.

22. And I thought you knew how to read a post. I said "non-electoral".
Everything you've posted shows what she's done in the senate. Obama's record in elected office is just as good, if not better, than hers. I'm asking again, because you seem to have missed it the first time, what experience does Clinton have that qualifies her for the presidency that Obama does not?

You gave nothing that pointed to non-electoral success. She's tried a few things and failed. That's it.

I pointed to her experience. Its not my fault you can't comprehend what you're reading.

26. And you gave me nothing.
She's done nothing out of office that Obama can't match and beat. The same goes in their electoral careers.

But you're right, we are done because debating with those who can't understand is useless, and you are just unable to comprehend the point.

28. Her efforts were considerable, and I do give her some credit here.
Unfortunately, I see nothing much else in her record that gives me hope.

{And to forestall, possibly, some knee-jerk responses, the same goes for Obama.)

Plus I am certain she has designers ready to supply her with gowns for state dinners so she can "hit the ground running" when elected.

It even stumped Penn, Wolfson and Feinstein. Lots of uncomfortable silence before they were able to come up with something. :hi:

18. It's stumped all the Clinton supporters at DU, too.
Not a single answer from them other than one that asked me if I was seriously that unaware. They still weren't able to come up with anything, though. This just proves that the Clinton supporters are just spewing talking points without understanding their meaning. Very, very sad.
