WICHITA FALLS — About 200 in the crowd of nearly 1,500 went home Sunday night when Bill Clinton was more than two hours late to a rally for his wife's presidential bid, but those who stayed cheered wildly throughout his speech.

(snip)

As the crowd grew antsy after the rally had not started, some campaign workers led cheers. More than a dozen people took chairs from the media area to sit down, while others sat on the floor. Many started milling around or took restroom breaks. Campaign volunteers also brought out water after at least one woman was seen being treated in an ambulance.

5. Thanks for the article. Yeah, there was a story about Bill Clinton having empty seats at another
"rally" a few days ago. I guess he's a "has been" and I hope his wife will not win to have him back in the WH.

Hillary was in Toledo and she'll be making her away around East Texas the rest of the day.

Where is Barack?

It's Hillary comeback day on the cable news stations, so it's kind of hard to get information on Obama today.

18. On the radio (all RW here), only Hillary is getting focus today--
on all the little news breaks, they use clips from her speeches and comments today, and Obama is an afterthought. There is a genuine push to promote her today.

24. I've noticed the glowing attention Hillary's getting in MSM

There's even a glowing article about Bill Clinton in Ohio. A bit
obvious, isn't it? They just want this primary race to continue
for their own benefit.

Edited on Mon Mar-03-08 03:00 PM by wienerdoggie
(supposedly) pundit call Obama "messianic", and mentioned "national security", Canada/NAFTA and Rezko--and now they're going to interview Howard Wolfson. Coupled with SNL last week and this week, I don't think there's any doubt who GE/NBC/MSNBC is pulling for.

16. reminds me: Clintons set a double standard for Obama
if Obama had lost 11 straight contests, he wouldn't be in the contest right now.

There's a serious double standard going on.

Hillary whines about "sexism" yet wants to be "your girl".

She cries on tv but says shes the stronger leader.

She whines that Obama campaign is racist, but it is her husband who makes
racial slurs.

She loses 11 contests in a row, but says Obama must do better.

Hillary can't win without lies and smearing, neither of which are good for the democratic party.

Sad. I just hope (and think) Obama will STILL win DESPITE the hurdles he's overcome and STILL has to overcome. It's getting to be closer and closer to a reality!
