HAHAHA: Check out this "I Support Bush Because..." Page from *'s Website
These guys are laughable. My god... some of these statements read like preschoolers. Others are so incredibly naive. Some gems:

"My admiration for President Bush stems from his setting aside partisian politics to just get the job done of serving all Americans! It's not easy to do what's right instead of what's popular. We don't have to second guess his words, actions, or intentions. I may not agree with everything he says or does, but he has earned my respect by demonstrating high ethics and character. I am proud he is my President, and enthusiastically support his re-election in 2004!"

-- Deborah Camargo of Corona, California

"President Bush has helped restore my faith in America. I visited New York City in Oct. 2001 and American flags were everywhere! They are still everywhere in Georgia! It’s wonderful to see American patriotism once again! Thank you Mr. President for standing strong in tough times. May God bless you."

-- Donna Hardin of Dalton, GA

(NO, Lady - that was b/c of a little something called 9-11. As though the nation was putting flags up b/c Bush was president.)

I also love how there are only, like, 10 or 15 or something.

1. Oh dear...
Deborah Camargo needs a dictionary, because the last I knew, ethical behavior didn't involve lying.

And yeah, all those flags went up because of Bush? Laughable.

3. Yeah, but then again
these people may be a figment of Rove's imagination. They do look like nice people. The kind you'd help out if they had a flat tire.

6. I don't dispute that they're nice people
Repubs often get a bad rap - they come from very conservative areas, but most people who vote Republican are genuinely nice, decent people - often, some of the friendliest people you'll meet. (Not that this applies to all or to ANY of the current ruling junta.)

And therein lies the problem. Sure, there are smart people who (wrongly, IMO) vote Republican, but at least seem knowledgeable abt the issues and are genuinely inclined to vote that way. While I'm disappointed in those people (and trust me, I have many friends who are like that) I know they're voting in line with their own views.

What annoys me are people like these -- people who vote Republican out of naivite and ignorance. People who would probably vote Dem if they were more aware of the real situation. We'd easily be the majority party if somehow we could get people to think more and be more critical.

Only better, because the flags stay up so long.

10. Who is Deborah Camargo?
Call me suspicious but the only listing in Corona California I could find for Camargo is (from google):
M Camargo, (909) 280-0578, 2130 Highpointe Dr, Corona, CA 92879
If anyone is in that area and want to see if there is a Deborah at that number we could see if these are real people.

I also checked www.fundrace.org to see how "enthusiastically" Deborah supports B* re-election. The answer is less than $250
