Vote for Obama and WE ALL DIE!!
(New Hillary Clinton "fear" ad)

"It's 3:00am and your children are asleep," the voice over says. "There's a phone in the White House, and it's ringing. Something is happening in the world. Your vote will decide who answers that call."

"Whether someone knows the world's leaders, knows the military, someone tested and ready to lead. It's 3am and your children are safe and asleep. Who do you want answering the phone?"

The tone of the ad -- which echoes the infamous Daisy Ad from the 1964 Johnson-Goldwater presidential race and the red phone ad former Vice President Walter Mondale ran against Gary Hart in their '84 race for the Democratic nomination -- indicates that the Clinton campaign is pulling out the all the stops leading into the Ohio and Texas primaries.

Mondale's ad, where a red phone rang threateningly in the middle of the night while a voiceover asked voters what kind of leader they wanted to "answer that phone", ultimately worked in his favor: Mondale defeated Hart and secured the party nomination, though he lost in November to Ronald Reagan.

We'll just get Samuel L Jackson to do his dialogue from the car cleaning scene in Pulp Fiction as a response.

53. Ad Sounds Right To Me
With Clinton we vision the types of people her government will have. With Obama it is a crap shoot at this point. Can the guy even bring up a time when he was present when a life or death decision had to made and the leadership he displayed? Hmmmm? Didn't think so.
If you have any doubts about how "plugged in and ready" Hillary is and was, you need to watch Primary Colors (again).

58. When did Hillary have to make a life and death decision?
Oh wait, the Iraq War Resolution.

will tell us everything we need to know about Hillary. :eyes:

59. Yep. My thoughts exactly.
So far she's run on experience and toughness on terror. Neither of those match-up well against McCain.

68. No, she's STEALING all of McCain's material -- and using it badly.
By the time McCain starts in on this crap, Obama will be able to just roll his eyes and say "we've already been through this". End of issue.

Hillary is a hypocrite. She just said the same thing about Obama's tactics a few days ago. Another reason I no longer support Hillary.

Hillary proves she is nothing more that a Bush-lite, Rovian, fear monger!

She makes me :puke:. I see why she and McCain are such good friends.

They use the same dirty rethug playbook against Obama!

87. How Rovian of you Hillary...no wonder you won't get the support of your party...
...even IF you win the nomination...

You are despicable...

When Senator Obama kicks your ass all over the street next Tuesday I hope you do the party, and by extension the Nation, a favour and bugger off back to the Senate where you can carry on the excellent job of enabling your rethuglican master's administration...

Sleeping in the same bed as the man that works in the oval office does NOT equate to "leadership experience"....however, if the First Lady Michelle Obama needs an expert tea-party coordinator I'm sure your "experience" will place you on her short-list for advisors...

88. This is completely ridiculous.
It's basically an ad for John McCain. If you want voters to select a candidate purely on the length of experience about who "knows the military", McCain is going to be the guy here.

Clinton really needs to fire these assholes that are running her campaign. They're making Bob Shrum look like a genius.

100. Do we want a pissed off Hillary waiting for Bill to come home at 3AM...
...to answer The Red Phone?

She already votes for wars, so her tendency as a scorned wife waiting for her psychopathic husband to come home after chasing skirt all night would make the World a lot more dangerous.

Jus' sayin'. Two can play this inane game.
