3. Maybe you should name the title of your thread to say "townhall" instead of "rally"
since he's going to be taking questions. :hi:

5. Good ol' Beaumont...
I can barely believe that such a racially diverse crowd is seated in Beaumont.

What a difference a few decades makes.

35. Or Lumberton...
I actually remember when Lumberton was called Chance-Loeb.

Goodness, I knew some crazy people who lived there.

My Grandfather had a guy named Houston Brown who worked for him. Houston lived (by choice) in a large culvert and chased cars like a dog. He was killed doing that.

7. LOL. Obama says the average person saves $400 per year and owes $8,000
in credit card debt. Someone shouts out.

"Some of y'all owe more than that, huh?"

16. Awesome!
It's great to have Presidential candidates actually paying some attention to Southeast TX. And Jefferson County is one of the few places in TX likely to vote for the Democrat in the general election as well. Besides a number of counties down in South Texas, Jefferson is the only TX county to vote for both Gore and Kerry. (Travis didn't even go Democratic in 2000 due to the Nader factor.)

He said they should follow the idea of "treat those how you want to be treated."

Saying that the way gays are talked about and treated is very unchristian like.

32. The question was about experience.
He said if inside the beltway experience was the only meaningful criteron, we would have gone with Joe.

Surely...not an intentional dis but he could have made his point without using Joe as a prop.

And if the race was about experience there wouldn't be a need for a race. We could nominate Biden because no one has more experience than him.
