9. One of the reasons I was turned off by Clinton was the fact she'll most likely replace Dean.
That isn't the only reason, of course.

3. Everybody knows the Dead are a cult, maaaaaan!
Actually, I remember hearing some anti-drug goober they paid to bring into my High School saying that.

Then I started going to shows... and was like, shit, no, it's not a cult- cults want to snag new people..

there aren't enough tickets to go around as it is! :hippie:

5. I did. Strange to think of him crossing paths with Barlow, who used to be a Republican.
'Course, JPB has more than atoned for it with his work through the EFF, now, I think.

7. My name is Howard Dean and I represent the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party.
He took my breath away and spoke against the war when so few would. I proudly cast my vote for him in our California primary even after Kerry had it all sewed up. I got to the polls and there was Howard's name and I said, this one is for you, Howard.

Great pic!

8. Remember the DNC Winter meeting in IA
I was blown away!

And to be against the war back then was unheard of. It was a breath of fresh air!

Remember Sharpton - I'll spank that donkey until it takes me to the white house....

23. That pic forced the Phila. School Board to act.
It made the Inquirer, Daily News, and the now defunct Bulletin.

It also got me a girlfriend at school.

12. Oh, yeah! The cult of young people and women in flannel shirts.
Edited on Tue Feb-26-08 01:41 AM by TWriterD
At least according to Tweety. Nevermind that I was in my early 40s and don't wear flannel...

I VIVIDLY remember the rally in Falls Church, VA with my fellow cultists. Letter writing. Door hangers. Phone calls. Sigh.

the cops didn't pull you over, did they, not for obstructing your windows, but for your message. You know, that happened in Georgia near Atlanta when a woman put an anti-bush bumper sticker on her car.
