Speaking Of Bad Blood (2 Stories)...

1) Bad Blood Spills Over As Clinton Support Ebbs - AFP

<snip>

WASHINGTON (AFP) — New polls Monday suggested Hillary Clinton's national support was collapsing, as her aides battled angrily with surging Barack Obama's camp before a key debate in her last-stand state Ohio.

Clinton, once the runaway Democratic front-runner, issued a fierce attack on Obama's foreign policy credentials and frustration boiled over within her team at what her aides say is the Illinois senator's easy ride from the media.

Just a week before pivotal nominating clashes in Texas and Ohio, the Obama team accused Clinton of "shameful" conduct, after a picture of him in African dress appeared on the Internet. Clinton's team denied it was guilty of a smear.

In an ominous sign for Clinton, a new CBS News/New York Times survey found Obama with a 16-point lead over the New York senator among Democratic primary voters nationwide, 54 percent to 38 percent.

Three weeks ago, before Obama reeled off 11 straight nominating wins, the rivals were level at 41 percent, and Clinton was 15 points up last month.

2) Hillary Clinton Supporter Stabs Barack Obama Backer - News.Com.AU

<snip>

THE US presidential race has become a blood sport, with a family feud over which Democratic candidate was the best person for the job spilling over into a full-blown fight, with punches thrown and a man stabbed.

The incident took place last week, when Jose Antonio Ortiz began arguing with his brother-in-law Sean Shurelds about Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, US website The Smoking Gun has reported.

Mr Ortiz, 28 is a Clinton supporter. Mr Shurelds, 41, is an Obama man.

The argument began when Mr Shurelds looked Mr Ortiz in the eye and said that Senator Obama was "trashing" the former first lady, in a reference to the 11 straight nominating victories he has had since Super Tuesday.

Mr Ortiz fired back with the following comeback: "Obama is not a realist".

The comments apparently enraged each man so much that push came to shove, which then escalated into a full-blown fight - even including a choke-hold.

Since the argument was taking place in the kitchen, knives were close at hand and during the melee Mr Shurelds was stabbed in the stomach.

1. Uh Huh ...
Because McCain is so galvanizing. Since we all fondly remember Reagan we're all ready for another 72 year old grandfather who would see 80 before a second term was served. I'm sure he will have a fresh approach to politics in this nation and all of Dubya's problems can be blamed on his youth and inexperience and failure to listen to the older and wiser Cheney.

Please, Hillary is gone and Obama will beat the pants off McCain. So far Obama has handled himself perfectly, supporters notwithstanding. And I am a Hillary supporter.

2. How refreshing to read a post by an adult.

No matter who you support, some of these posters should be ashamed of the vitriol they spout.

Peace:thumbsup:

4. McCain will lose. He's McCain!! He makes Bush look like Winston Churchill by comparison.
Stubby McCain has a bad temper and wrongly believes he's right about everything.
