Isn't it funnier that they begged the Republicans to reject the bill that they proposed?

Well, it's not so black-and-white. See, probably in the same manner that Kerry "voted for the $87 billion before I voted against it", the bill the NRA was backing suddenly grew some mutated amendments, or "poison pills". All of a sudden the NRA was against the legislation they pushed.

So, if some idjit says "Kerry flip-flopped", tell them about the NRA flip-flop.
